Owen Dahl of Mankato East (Minnesota Nice). A 6’4 forward that caught my eye. The word potential jumped out to me in seeing Owen compete with team three. Good early set of skills.
Noah Mccarty Noah Mccarty 6'3" | SF Wayzata | 2027 MN of Wayzata. At 6’3 Noah beat his man off the dribble to the rim with every touch in the game I watched. Skilled player that won his battle nearly every play. We continue to run into Wayzata 2027s that solid players making for another load of Trojan depth.
Adryan Miller Adryan Miller 6'5" | SF Academy Of Holy Angels | 2027 MN of Holy Angels ( Minnesota Fury ). Showed the short jumper, showed the size to board, showed the agility to move his feet and defend, and showed the consistency of effort to produce. A nice player that I could see the Stars using at a higher level in their program this year.
Travon Perkins of Hopkins ( Minnesota Select ). Perkins looks to be a six foot wing that had a couple eye grabbing plays retreating defensively in transition. He’s a longer wing that has some shift to his attack. Potential to be a good wing looks to be there.
Luke Schroeder Luke Schroeder 5'9" | PG Shakopee | 2027 State MN of Shakopee (Team Tyus). Has the look – and from my time watching, the touch – to be an outstanding floor stretching shooter. It was clear in the time I watched the defense was aware of the dangers his touch can lead to because there was often an instant scramble when the ball found Luke’s hands. That quick release meant that the late closeout was ultimately meaningless.
Braxton Thomas Braxton Thomas 6'1" | SG DeLaSalle | 2027 State MN of DeLaSalle. A 6’1 guard that did a lot of the handling and scoring for his team. Good potential and with time looks to have the skills and control to be a very good combo guard. Touch looks good when Braxton gets to a comfortable space on balance, and it was even better when catching and making a play in rhythm.
Eddie Walker of Hopkins ( Minnesota Select ). Kids kept hollering “get to him” as Walker had a nice run with his perimeter touch. Walker is a 6’1 guard and seemed right at home in his home gym making several jumpers.
