Griffin Carroll of Totino-Grace (Team Tyus). A really good shooter, whenever the ball came to him on the wing Carroll looked to catch and get into his shot immediately if the defense was slow in their approach. Don’t have the numbers for the day but when eyes were on his floor Griffin was catching and shooting to score with success.
Jayvion Gardner of Champlin Park ( Gain Elite ). Coming off a nice year with Gain Elite , Gardner did a lot of the same things: make open shots, hustle ahead of his man to attack the advantage into space, and score at the cup when he created the space to do it.
Rylan Happel of Mounds View ( Minnesota Heat ). Happel is one of the shooters that multiple scouts noted as hitting open shots when they came his way at the event. Lots of room to grow with a nice touch to start with.
Shay Jackson Shay Jackson 5'8" | PG Totino Grace | 2027 MN of Totino-Grace ( Minnesota Heat ). When it comes to speed and pace push, Shay is a player that stood out. Loved his quick collect and run forcing the defense to sprint back (and in some paces turn and just give up). A 5’8 guard with some of the best quicks in the event.
Matt Kachman of Eastview (South Metro Elite). At 5’10 Matt was one of the more skilled players we saw using the jumper, the steady handle, and the vision to move the defense.
Geno Ward of Holy Family ( Minnesota Fury ). One of the consistent point scorers of the event Geno packaged the open perimeter touch with the smart one dribble into space jumper, some transition plays pushing ahead of the defense to score, and some crafty makes deeper into the attack.
Henry Wisniewski of Waconia ( Minnesota Fury ). Team 7 had a lot of talent but they also played some of the better team basketball and one of the guys they had to thank for that was Henry. He was a take charge type collecting the basketball and making sure it went where it needed to be each possession.
