The Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase has become an annual event that rivals any put on throughout the year in the Hoosier State. On Sunday afternoon and evening at Fishers High School nearly 200 of the states best Class of 2027 prospects came to display their skills in front of many of the most influential people in Indiana High School Basketball. This event is the premier way to get “on the radar” prior to your high school career. Over the next week or so it will become clear why we always say “nobody does content and event coverage like Prep Hoops Indiana.” With that said, here are the player evaluations from Team 10 of the 2023 Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase.

***With nearly 200 prospects at our event, our scouting staff (of three people) divided up the 20 teams to ensure that we could get evaluations of every player. However, as you can imagine, this is not the easiest task. Our staff watched each team they were assigned to for a minimum of one full game. There were some late player additions and walk-ups that threw a wrench into some rosters as well. So, if you notice that a name is wrong and/or a player is missing an evaluation please reach out to Brandon Ramsey at coachbrandonramsey@gmail.com or reach out via DM on Twitter @BRamseyKSR and he will resolve any issues. Thanks for your understanding and for participating in the 2023 Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase!***

#11 - [player_tooltip player_id='2140356' first='Eli' last='Elkins'] - 5'11” PG - North Knox

Elkins is a pass-first point guard who can both handle it and pass it very well. He does the job of your prototypical point guard, and he does it well. He also defended pretty well, and besides the few moments where he got sped up, it was a very good performance.

#75 - [player_tooltip player_id='2140394' first='Jonathan' last='Fulce'] - 6'0” SG - Southport

Fulce is a strong shooting guard with good size. He played hard the entire weekend and hustled for every minute he was on the floor. On the glass, he just outworked people to get in the right position. Good showing overall.

#93 - [player_tooltip player_id='2140341' first='Cash' last='Daniels'] - 5'8” PG - Indianapolis Cathedral

Daniels was probably my favorite player on the Showcase. He was all over the court making plays, and he just seemed to be able to do whatever he wanted all day long. He is smooth around the rim with great touch, and he can knock it down from deep. He sees the floor very well too. On defense, he had more steals than I could count as his hands were active and he was pickpocketing everyone. There just is not much that this kid does not do well.

#97 - Reece McKee - 5'8” PG - New Albany

McKee was a very good pass-first guard who teamed up with Daniels to make an unstoppable duo. He showed off his vision all game long as he was able to set up his teammates from anywhere. He was definitely my favorite passer of the weekend.

#107 - [player_tooltip player_id='2140327' first='Branden' last='Sharpe'] - 5'8” PG - Brownsburg

Sharpe is a smaller point guard with good vision. He used his athleticism well to get quick down the floor, and he showed off his jumping ability as well for the rebounds.

#207 - [player_tooltip player_id='2141030' first='Carter' last='Kobe'] - 6'0” SF - Marquette Catholic

Kobe played incredibly hard on the defensive end of the floor. He used his strength on both ends of the floor and finished several buckets inside. He had a nice floater in the paint as well.

#886 - [player_tooltip player_id='2140336' first='Brogan' last='Hall'] - 5'9” SG - Lawrenceburg

Hall is a smaller guard who knocked down shots all day, especially when he was spotting up and ready to shoot.
