The 6-7 small forward plays with a ton of energy and brings a ton of athleticism onto the floor every single night. Abdullahi averaged 8.9 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for the Explorers last season and was apart of the core featuring

On the defensive end, Abdullahi is a dominant presence in the paint and has brought great footwork and the ability to defend the perimeter as well. He is also a prominent shot blocker who can also crash the boards with the best of them as he provides great length and has a ton of versatility.
During the Grassroots Circuit, Abdullahi was playing for Nightrydas Elite and also spent some time playing with KOD this summer. For Nightrydas Elite, Abdullahi averaged 9.6 points and nearly six rebounds per game in 12 games.
Abdullahi will return to a loaded Columbus squad that got better during the off-season with Jase and Jaxon Richardson Jaxon Richardson 6'5" | SF Columbus | 2026 State FL coming in from Bishop Gorman earlier in the summer. The Explorers will also be re-joined by 5-8 senior guard Brandon Ordonez. The Explorers are expected to be heavy favorites in Class 7A to win their third consecutive state title this upcoming season.
