This is a big chance for some of our in-state prospects to gain some valuable experience while getting more exposure at the same time. Here are six prospects to watch for this weekend.
Out of the Indiana prospects, Chase Barnes Chase Barnes 6'1" | PG Fort Wayne Wayne | 2025 State #355 Nation IN may be the top player in the gym this weekend. Barnes is one of the more explosive athletes in Indiana’s class of 2025 and scored at a high-level for the majority of this past summer. He is at his best getting to the rim very easily with his high athletic ability and can score from the wing, and can be lock down on the defensive end. With offers already from IUPUI and Western Michigan, Barnes has a great opportunity to boost his recruiting even more this weekend.
He may be on the smaller end, but Horvath is one of the tougher in-state guards attending the Indiana State Elite Camp. He is also one of the more pure scorers in the in-state 2025 class and pairs it well with his overall skill. Horvath is an excellent ball handler, creates his own shot consistently off of the bounce, and can absolutely light it up from beyond the arc. At Park Tudor next season, he will likely be their ‘go-to’ guy at times and had a chance to be one of the high volume scorers in the state. Could see a breakout performance from Horvath this weekend.

Without question, Ward is the most under-the-radar players in this watchlist, however, this player can score with the best of them. Shoots the ball well from the outside and attacks the rim so aggressively. Plays with an extremely high IQ and is not afraid to go at anyone or shoot the ball when he has the space to do so. Ward is a guard that can play both on and off the ball but has a true scoring mindset. He can sneakily put up a ton of points. This will be a good camp for Ward.

Evans is the only 2026 in this watchlist but is someone to keep an eye on not only this weekend, but for the remaining part of his high school career. As a freshman at Greencastle, he stepped up right away and was second leading scorer and rebounder. The 6’6″ talented forward has an excellent all-around skill level for his size. Has a good amount of fluidity in his movements and can stretch the floor out to three-point range. Tons of potential in Evans.

McNair is one of the better under-the-radar big men in Indiana’s Class of 2024 and has a real good opportunity to breakout this weekend. The 6’6″ center from Evansville Harrison has good footwork and a soft touch inside, rebounds his area well, and can hold his own physically on the block defensively. For his size, he just has nice touch and feel inside the paint. One of the players I am more intrigued with seeing this weekend.
Highlights
Carpenter is another player that could really breakout this weekend. He is a dynamic point guard and excellent off of the dribble knifing his way into the paint, is a great passer, and scores it well in the intermediate range. He a bigger lead guard that is real athletic and also has a smooth pull up jumper as well. With a D1 offer from IUPUI already, there is a great chance for him to get more D1 looks this weekend.
