Kalial went about the weekend in a very business-like manner. He was probably one of the most under-the-radar players at camp, but if you focused on his game, you would see he was very productive across the scoreboard. He is a multi-level scorer and a crafty guard with the rock in his hands. He balances scoring off the bounce, finishing at the rim, and scoring in the middle and behind the arc off the bounce. He is a two-way player with active hands on defense and a knack for creating steals. He is poised for a solid senior year.

Let me go ahead and say that Jonny was the ultimate floor general with a brilliant floor game. He is a rising sophomore that plays like a mature senior. He has a high PG IQ and was one of the best orchestrators throughout the weekend. He plays with poise and pace. He is a crafty playmaker out of isolations and pick-and-rolls and already has a feel for drawing in defenders to open up scoring opportunities for teammates. He makes effective use of hesitations and pace alterations to generate space which leads to the ability to create for himself and his teammates. He showed his ability to produce scoring opportunities when they presented themselves, so defenders have to respect his scoring ability. Look for Jonny to increase his stock over the next two years and garner some attention from the next level.

Jakoi is a crafty guard that thrives on ball and off. He was sensational in the open court as he was tough to contain in space, and he made good decisions with the rock when he was out leading the break. He is a multi-level scorer that was very efficient from the floor. He has a nice bounce to his game, as he sees the floor well and was one of the best playmakers in camp. He is a trustworthy ball-handler that is not flustered very easily. He handles pressure and still finds ways to create scoring opportunities for his teammates when defenders try to disrupt his flow. As I pointed out, Jakoi is a playmaker capable of making both simple reads and complex feeds even when under duress, and he brings more on offense than just scoring.
Matthew Nora (6’2/G/’25/Lamar Consolidated)

Matthew really stepped up his game on the final two days of camp, and he was absolutely phenomenal scoring the rock. At times he played a little bully ball as he punished defenders on his way to the rim, while at other times, he was smoothly attacking off the bounce and finishing in the paint. He is an excellent rebounding guard, especially on the offensive end of the floor, as he has a knack for chasing the ball. He probably was the most productive player on the offensive boards and scoring with put-backs out of all the campers. Matthew is a physically tough guard that draws a lot of fouls with his physical style of play. He showed a lot that could have coaches from the next level giving him looks, but one thing that was a lasting impression on me by the end of camp was his grit on the offensive glass and his ability to score through contact.
Amare Oba Amare Oba 6'6" | SF Moravian Prep | 2026 State NC (6’5/SF/’26/Red Rock Academy)

The lengthy wing player had a lot of excitement surrounding his name, as many were looking forward to watching him compete. He was very active on the offensive end of the floor, looking to score early and often in 5v5 action. He has good positional size, and his skill set is there, but there are some places that he can continue to hone that will increase his threat level. Amare is a bouncy athlete with the ability to rise in tight spaces with body control and the length to finish over defenders. He is a talented and gifted scorer who can score in bunches and at all levels. He presses at times, but that could be trying to prove that the hype surrounding him is real. A calmer player will emerge once he settles into who he is as a player without the pressure to prove anything.
Jamal Ware (6’4/G|F/’24/Miami Norland Senior High)

Jamal was absolutely amazing as he was not just athletic but extremely explosive off the dribble and off the ground. He was physical in his attacks and strong when finishing at the rim. He showed his scoring prowess and was one of the best bucket-getters in the entire camp. He didn’t have a mind-blowing burst, but he has enough speed to get by defenders, and when he does, it is then that his explosiveness is seen in the paint. Jamal was aggressive; he attacked thru contact and was ferocious in scoring off the bounce. He even showed his ability to knock down the trey ball as the day went on. He is the epitome of a walking bucket, and he made his claim to the position of the best player in camp.
