To prepare for the season in the coming months, I will be dropping some City Rankings and ranking players in the area their school resides in. Here is Whatcom County.
Anthony has accomplished so much during his 3 year high school career, including winning the last two 2A state championships. He gets to his spots so smoothly and can score at all 3 levels effectively. His vision is great on the court as he can find his teammates nicely. He is a fantastic leader, vocally encouraging his teammates through everything.
Jeremiah is extremely dominant on the court down in the paint. He sets amazing screens and rolls off of them perfectly, putting himself just in right spot. He can hit jump shots nicely when left open. He plays great defense, being able to guard multiple different positions on the court.
Jaeger’s game has been evolving very nicely over the last couple seasons. He finds his spots smoothly, putting great dribble moves on display when working in the open court. He knocks down his threes at a high rate and finds his teammates when they are open on the court. He can pay effectively off or on the ball too, making him difficult to keep up with.
Highlights
Talon is the other part of this Trojans squad. Jenkins has evolving his game in such a big way, showcasing more ability to handle the ball and create for himself and his teammates. Jenkins’ length and size is very helpful for him on the court, as it really helps him create space. He can score at all 3 levels and is going to have a big breakout year next season.
Jerome is electric on the court. He brings such amazing energy to his teammates and leads by example in such a big way. He scores the ball very well, hitting mid-range shots or getting to the rim with either hand effectively. He runs the court very, very good as many of his points lead to quick buckets as he uses his speed to his advantage to get down the court. He is going to dominate at Lummi Nation for the coming years.
