This week we will be shifting our focus on the upcoming juniors. If we are missing anyone who deserves to be recognized, please send us a direct message.
The 6-2 rising sophomore has one of the smoothest shooting strokes in the Class of 2026. O’Keefe displays a great feel for the game where he can pull up from the mid-range or have a dangerous attack finishing at the front of the rim. He is a smooth passer as well as he can find open shooters with his great court vision as well. He is also a dynamic playmaker who can make plays on the ball as well as off. O’Keefe will be a name to remember for the next three years in my opinion, as college coaches should start peaking interest early.
The 6-1 rising sophomore guard plays hard on both ends of the floor and brings great energy on any given night. Smith is a poised point guard who plays under control and makes great decisions with the basketball. Smith has the ability to knock down shots on all three levels whether it’s off the catch or off the bounce. He is also an underrated rebounder for his size and uses his strength to an advantage.
The 5-10 guard has a complete understanding of the game and plays mature beyond his years. Tipton is a viable threat to score in a variety of ways and can punish defenses with his quick release. Tipton is also a capable passer who gets his teammates involved early and often during games as well. Tipton is a great on-the-ball defender as well where he forces the opposition into taking tough shots. Excited to see the stock Tipton features as his sophomore season nears.
Highlights
The 6-2 rising sophomore point guard is quick with and without the basketball in his hands, where he is always in the right position. Sandi is a multi-versatile player who can impact the game in a variety of ways and is a polished prospect who could start seeing college coaches on his radar. Sandi also plays with great pace and his ability to change speeds has really stood out this summer. Sandi is a viable three-level scoring threat who I can expect puts up some great scoring numbers this upcoming season.
KJ Francis
KJ Francis
The 6-2 rising sophomore guard has a ton of quickness and toughness in his game, where he doesn’t let physicality phase him. Francis makes great decisions when he has the basketball in his hands whether to shoot or pass. On the defensive end, he is a pest and scrappy where he could be seen guarding on the ball or on the opponent’s best player. He plays very aggressive in the passing lanes where he jumps for steals turning them into baskets on the offensive end. Excited for Francis as he continues to grow ahead of our eyes heading into his sophomore season.
