Bartley was at the start of a breakout grassroots season until an unfortunate injury. He’ll be back in plenty of time for high school season and Eaton Rapids opponents better be very aware. Bartley can outmuscle most in the lane and could average double figures in rebounds. Offensively, he can shoot with range as well as work off the high post.
Highlights
I was throughly impressed with Garcia when I saw him play in the spring. He did a great job running the floor and essentially controlling the pace and the feel of the game. Garcia got buckets in transition and could feed as well as finish. I think the future could be very bright for this young man.
Keyes is a very talented and intriguing prospect. He’s an athletic 4 that is also a highly regarded football prospect. Keyes can be bouncy under the rim and can put the ball on the floor for 2 dribble drives. There may be some varsity minutes available in the paint for his Saline team and Keyes could snag those.
Cooper is probably still pretty under ranked, but that will work itself out with time. The athletic wing is terrific in space and he does a great job getting defenders on his hip. Cooper will play a key role for talented Heritage squad. We could see a huge sophomore campaign from him.
