Garcia is a player that I’ve seen a lot of, back even before his freshman season. He’s was and still is a super talented player. Garcia feels the game well, moving the ball with the right pass and taking generally only good shots. He’s pretty athletic and can effectively play a downhill style.

Garcia was very impressive with REAL 16u at the Prep Hoops Circuit’s Havoc In The Heartland. I’ve really liked his game since he stepped into high school and it’s continued to grow. Garcia has always been a fast player that can push in transition with the dribble and the pass. He showed off his jumper this weekend. Garcia was able to connect on the catch and on the move.

I was throughly impressed with Garcia when I saw him play in the spring. He did a great job running the floor and essentially controlling the pace and the feel of the game. Garcia got buckets in transition and could feed as well as finish. I think the future could be very bright for this young man.

Garcia went at it all weekend. He played at a fast pace and never slowed from fatigue. Garcia worked just as hard off the ball as he did when he had it. This helped him earn looks at the rim.

Garcia did a lot of work pushing the pace and attacking the defense off the bounce. But he also showed that he can be very dangerous off a catch and shoot and that he has 3 point range on his jumper.
