Scott could be a show stopper in Grand Rapids in late September. He’s coming off a huge summer with The Family where he proved that he’s an elite prospect and a big time basketball player. Scott is one of the most elusive players in the state that features some really nasty handles. He’s excellent in a high speed game.
Tate is an intriguing prospect that could benefit greatly from a huge exposure event like the Top 250. It all starts on the defensive end for the skilled lead guard. He has a great feel for the shot and blocks an inordinate number of shots for a player under 6’0″. Tate is very good at reading passes as well. Offensively, he’s a good passer that can knife the ball through a defense.
Scouts would really like to see a player like McGlinch at the Top 250. He’s a pass first point guard that plays well off the pick and roll. McGlinch has underrated blow by speed and can use it to beat defenders to a spot. He has excellent up the floor vision which allows teammates to sneak behind the defense for easy buckets and helps him push the pace with the pass.
Hardy would be a perfect fit once again at the Top 250. He was the cause of a lot of talk last year after his stellar performance at the showcase. His stock most certainly rose. We’d love to see him play it back at this year’s Top 250 and make his stock rise yet again. Hardy is a versatile forward that combines size, strength, and ball skills.
Hureskin had a breakout high school season last year and everyone is excited to see what he does again this year. Hureskin could get a jump start on his senior season exposure with a solid day at the showcase. Scouts and coaches would surely love to see his ability to go get buckets.
