Kendre had a red hot start in the game I saw, eventually leading to a Saturday victory. He did most of his damage with finishes inside, but also did other things to help his team win. He was positioning himself very well inside, being able to catch passes from teammates to instantly go up for a layup. He rebounded well and also handled the ball a decent amount, even bringing the ball up the floor at times. Fields is extremely versatile and can do a little bit of everything when he is on the floor.
Jack is a 2027 forward playing in the 16U division this weekend and has really impressed me with the combination of his size and skill. He already stands at 6-foot-9 and has been dominant in the paint. I saw him grab several contested rebounds, snatching them right over opponents. He has great touch inside and has been nearly automatic on finishes at the rim. Thelen is also a fantastic shot blocker, being able to go straight up to send shots back without fouling. I really like what Jack brings to the table at his size, especially at his age.
Max really stood out to me with his size and explosiveness on Saturday night. He and his MN Lightning squad put up 108 points in a blowout win over E1T1 ‘ last=”]. The 6-foot-4 forward was able to show off his bounce, rising up for a pair of one-handed dunks in transition. He also had an impressive drive baseline for a finish and I saw him chase down a transition miss for a putback basket. I really like Dearborn as a prospect and he proved why he is ranked in the top-30 of the state’s 2025 rankings playing up at the 17U level.
Lawrence turned in a great performance in the game I saw and I believe he has a lot of potential as a prospect. He has a strong 6-foot-4 frame and used it to take advantage of smaller players that he was matched up with. He did a really good job of crashing the boards for offensive rebounds, which resulted in some tough second chance baskets. He moves very fluidly with the ball in his hands, looking comfortable in the open floor. Marshall also had some eye-opening rejections on defense as well.
Jackson is a very smooth player who never looks sped up by defensive pressure or a fast paced game. When he gets the ball inside or in the post, he can go to a deep bag of moves to score himself or kick out to a teammate on the perimeter. He is a great finisher at the rim, being able to attack and finish with either hand. Hayes will have a large role at Waconia this upcoming season and could be a breakout candidate.
Temi was making plays on both sides of the ball on Saturday, using his strength and athleticism. He held down the paint defensively, guarding a plethora of different positions and contesting all shots inside. He has continued to evolve his game and looked comfortable handling the ball in space to create scoring opportunities for his team in transition. The Park Center forward also showed off his athleticism, as I saw him throw down a strong one-handed dunk. Omotoyinbo is running with Team Supreme this weekend.

Jordan is still pretty raw as a prospect, but the tools are there to blossom into a great all-around player. He has a super long wingspan and used that length to get his hands in passing lanes and to contest opponent’s shots. Davis was also a difference maker as a rebounder, coming away with boards on both ends of the floor. The 2026 forward showed flashes of the player he could become on Saturday.
