On July 14-16 I attended the last live period for club teams in Vegas at several venues. The inaugural Sportradar Showdown at Coronado HS, Cali Live at Liberty HS and the Ultimate Club Championships held mainly at the Las Vegas Basketball Center and a few other Nevada high schools.

Here were some of the senior standouts I viewed:

[player_tooltip player_id='1131814' first='Ring' last='Nyeri'] Liberty (Factory)

A fluid forward blocks shots, runs the court and can score. He has quick reflexes and explosion to get off the floor in a blink of an eye. He is an effortless athlete to throw it down and his catch and shoot three point game looks sharper. He keeps advancing his wing skills to go along with his size, fluidity, length and athleticism.

[player_tooltip player_id='1193877' first='Ryan' last='Jackson'] AZ Compass Prep (NBBA)

An athletic face-up forward can catch and shoot from the three point line in the corner plus rebound. He is explosive on the break with dunks way above the rim and plays with great energy. He can rise up from mid, showing more to his game and his motor runs hot to rebound.

[player_tooltip player_id='1180583' first='Marsai' last='Mason'] Phhoenix Prep (AZ Select UAA)

A high flying forward is an above the rim athlete. He can straight line drive to the rim, he will hit an occasional three, but is best in transition and on defense. He can play in space and will defend in the post. He can block shots and catch a couple tip dunks in the air with incredible timing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1449296' first='Majak' last='Thokbor'] Bella Vista Prep International (AZ Select UAA)

A tall and super athletic center who dunks literally everything. He catches lobs and runs the floor to gain position and will explode up to throw it down. He rebounds well despite being leaner and is a very fluid athlete and is catching the ball better than a year ago. Stock up!

[player_tooltip player_id='1367577' first='Luke' last='Bamgboye'] Bella Vista Prep (Team Thrill)

He didn't play heavy minutes but I did want to mention him since he just got back from a hip/groin injury in February. He looked good and is running well, he still has that pretty jumper from mid-range and flushes it down quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='1336434' first='Presley' last='Ibeh'] Highland Prep (Factory)

A strong wing attacks off the bounce. He breaks down the defense with either hand in heavy traffic and shows next level body control to score around the post players. He hit a game winner versus a top team over the weekend and is becoming more and more confident with his perimeter shooting.

[player_tooltip player_id='1131774' first='Jayce' last='Nathaniel'] AZ Compass Prep (Team Curry)

A long forward is a shot maker from the three point line who works well inside the paint. He is strong enough to defend inside and moves well in space. He is a little lean but has a good long term frame to fill in and has athleticism to utilize. He is moving over to Arizona from Georgia.

[player_tooltip player_id='1123041' first='Bradey' last='Henige'] Cactus (West Coast Elite) (Pictured)

A true rebounder chaser scores on put backs in bunches. He has a polished hook shot with his dominant left hand, he blocks shots in his area and plays with a big IQ for the game. He made a clutch layup to seal a victory versus a talented NBA Global squad. He is easily one of the better rebounders in the state.
