Luke had 7 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 blocks in AZ Compass Prep’s win over Veritas on Saturday morning. Bamgboye needs to improve and refine his touch around the basket but has great length and positional sense as he made a big impact on the game with his effort on the glass and protecting the rim.

Full of potential and a very high ceiling. Bamgboye is great shot blocker with good instincts around the rim. He moves his feet very well and is agile. Luke has good rim running potential as he gets up and down the court very well and loves throwing down everything around the rim. There were several instances when smaller defenders were switched onto him and he responded by dunking all over them. Bamgboye held his own in the ball handling portions of the camp and shows the potential to get better. You love to see a big man who has the potential to develop control of the rock.
