Here were some of the senior F/C standouts:
Emmanuel Stephen Emmanuel Stephen 7'0" | C Dream City Christian | 2024 State #112 Nation AZ Dream City Christian (Pictured)
The top post player of the week goes to Stephen. He was scoring on jump hook shots, rim running for dunks and offensive rebound put backs. His physical presence to rebound everything and being a menace to block shots and control the game is one of the reasons he will be considered as a top player in the class next update.
Ring Nyeri Ring Nyeri 6'8" | PF Liberty | 2024 State #256 Nation AZ Liberty
The long and seemingly growing forward had a slow half but a sensational second half. Hitting threes off the catch and two handed dunks down the lane. He scores off offensive rebound put backs in and out of his area and rip thrus versus other size. He made a few eye popping plays all in the second half.
Thokbor Majak Thokbor Majak 7'0" | C Canyon International Academy | 2024 State AZ Canyon International Academy
The San Diego State commit is an elite shot blocker. There are not many better in the West coast than him. He is working on his face-up from mid-range and even extending to the three point line. His sheer presence of length and size bothers his opponents.
Makhan Diouf Makhan Diouf 6'11" | PF Bella Vista Prep | 2024 State #82 Nation AZ Bella Vista Prep
A unique forward can hit the catch three and can handle to create his own offense. He defends unusually well in space and is playing thru plantar fasciitis showing his toughness.
Jae’Coby Osborne Jae’Coby Osborne 6'6" | SF Bella Vista Prep | 2024 State #241 Nation AZ Bella Vista Prep
The New Mexico State commit can break down his opponent off the dribble. He is a physical defender who makes mid-range jumpers and is versatile to defend bigger forwards and smaller guards.
Luke Bamgboye Luke Bamgboye 6'10" | C AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State #110 Nation AZ AZ Compass Prep
A quick leaper to dunk it and rebound amidst heavy traffic. He can hit the mid-range jumper with a long swooping shot and has a mini hook shot. He will start off his college career being a supreme shot blocker.
Sammie Yeanay Sammie Yeanay 6'7" | PF AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State #98 Nation AZ AZ Compass Prep
A massive power forward is a top notch rebounder. He can crab dribble to the basket and take it coast to coast for a deuce. He will face up from mid to the three and rip thru and scores thru contact with his broad shoulders and strength.
Jai Anthoni Bearden Jai Anthoni Bearden 6'6" | SF Sunnyslope | 2024 State AZ Sunnyslope
One of the top defenders in the AIA made it tough on all of his opponents he defended. He scores it with buckets inside the paint and rise over the top of the defenders. He is a very quick second jumper to rebound and score on put backs. One thing remains constant with him, he will defend at a high level. Not many scored on him when he covered them.
Jayden Williams Jayden Williams 6'9" | C Overtime Elite (GA) | 2024 #145 Nation GA Bella Vista Prep
A top of the food chain athlete is a shot blocker and a high level rebounder. He loves the pick and roll action and is the finisher. He has a video game like wingspan around seven-foot-four and uses it to bother his opponents in the passing lanes or inside the paint.
