Highlights
To be honest, there’s nothing flashy about Abdalla’s game, but the wing is productive. He’s one of the best scorers in the state, with the ability to create for himself in 1 v 1 situations. An underatted athlete, the shooting guard is a top 10 player in the class.
Highlights
Wilkins is a knock down shooter. The wing, who is transferring to Gorman this season, has the ability to change the scoreboard with his three point shooting ability. He highlights the depth of the class, as the talented wing comes in as a top 10 player in the class.
Highlights
“Chef” is probably closer to a positionless player, however he fits as a wing for this occasion. The power wing, is fast and agile, making him a downhill nightmare. Look for him to be one of the key players for an Arbor View squad that many are predicting as a 5A favorite.
Highlights
Not 100% sure Knoll is playing for Durango this season, but I know that wherever he ends up, he’s going to help a team win. One of the most unselfish players in the state. The wing does it all, including defending multiple positions, sacrificing his body for 50/50 balls and making tough shots for his team.
Hutchinson has worked his way into one of the most versatile players in the state. The forward has gone from a guy playing with his back to the basket, into a certified faceup small ball four man, turning himself into one of the top wing players in his class.
Jackson used a combination of skills to make a move up the rankings. He’s a terrific defender, coming off a defensive player of the year performance. He has also turned into one of the better rebounders in the class, showing the willingness to mix it up in the interior against bigger stronger opponents.
Buchanan is one of the top R&J athletes in his class. The wing is a two sport star, and one look at his frame gives you an idea of why he’s such a productive player on the gridiron. He has value on the basketball court as a finisher and wing defender.
Jones is one of the top Pitbull defenders in the class. He’s always been a dawg on ball, but don’t sleep on his offensive production. There’s not one specific offensive skill that Jones can hang his hat on, except for the fact that he plays his best in the biggest games, coming up with a 20 point performance in the state championship game.
