Here are some notes on many of the 2025 guards I observed while in the gym during June.

[player_tooltip player_id='2043562' first='Noah' last='Brazil'] | Wilde Lake (MD)

Brazil is a crafty scorer at 6'2". He's got some good athleticism too as I saw him dunk during a game.

Caden Chinnia-Faline | John Carroll (MD)

Chinnia-Faline is blossoming into a dependable all-around playmaker. Passing and rebounding are two of his calling cards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1956021' first='Darnell' last='Dantzler Jr.'] | Edmondson-Westside (MD)

Dantzler is a reliable ball-handler who gets frequent paint touches. He is also a stingy defender at the point of attack.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242134' first='Mason' last='Douglas'] | Eleanor Roosevelt (MD)

Douglas is a 5'10” lefty who is a threat from three. He can score in bunches once he sees a few go in.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242067' first='Jermaine' last='Drakes'] | Landon (MD)

Drakes is a good athlete at 6'5". He is an above-the-rim finisher who is also a threat from three.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242384' first='Aaron' last='Elliott'] | Lake Taylor (VA)

Elliott is a playmaking point guard who is a good finisher in traffic. He demonstrates good court vision and doesn't mind stepping up to draw a charge.

De'marean Frazier | Richard Montgomery (MD)

Frazier is a 5'10" point guard who demonstrates a well-rounded skill set. He can shoot the three, handle the rock, and distribute it.

[player_tooltip player_id='1371859' first='Joseph' last='Green'] | Mt. St. Joe (MD)

Green is a strong guard who is adept at getting downhill. He uses his quickness defensively as well to stay in front of his man when pressuring in the backcourt.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242132' first='Nigel' last='Harris'] | Oxon Hill (MD)

Harris is a 6'0" guard who makes a difference on both ends for the Clippers. He's a dangerous shooter from three who plays solid team defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2242121' first='Emonte' last='Hill Jr.'] | Frederick (MD)

Hill is a 5'10” PG who displays a high basketball IQ. He is a shifty guard who handles the ball well. Hill is a good passer who can finish among the trees and will pick your pocket if you're not careful with the ball.

Here are some notes on many of the 2025 guards I observed while in the gym during June.
