Green’s consistent performance and ability to score from various positions made him a standout player for Mt. St. Joseph. I love how he has played with the always well coached Mt. St. Joes team. He actively toggles between guard positions, plays, and defends hard, and simply makes the right play without hesitation. His production throughout the year help Mt. St. Joe’s to the BCL Champions game this year.

-Always come away impressed by how many areas Green impacts the game for the Gaels. Green got going early with a defensive rebound that turned into a C2C bump and short jumper off the spin move in transition. His shooting touch has improved around the basket as has the arc on his shots, showing the ability to hit the pull up middy the very next possession in the paint. Green gets to the line often and gets opponents in foul trouble by drawing contact in the paint, is an incredibly pesky on-ball defender that forces his matchup to take some tough shots, and wins every 50-50 ball. If the outside jumper begins to fall at a consistent rate and his handle can smooth out to navigate tight gaps, I expect his recruitment to pick up quite a bit.

-Green has proven his value as one of the most important role players in the area with his ability to impact the game in a variety of ways for the MIAA champions, who advanced to the BCL semifinals. Green sets great screens, finds cutters well from the high post after grabbing offensive rebounds, finishes well in the paint, and can guard a range of different scorers. He has the quickness to stay with guards and the strength/aggressiveness to mark bigs off switches or as the primary defender.
