Cofield fits the mold as a prospect with the build that typically comes into fruition once he reaches his upperclassmen years. A wiry, 6’4″-6’5″ forward heading to Mount St. Joseph to play under head coach Pat Clatchey, Cofield was one of the most highly sought after prospect in the class. At this stage, his movements, skillset and overall ability are ahead of others with a similar build, which indicate optimistic growth and long-term predictions as he goes through the maturation process. He’ll be called upon early as a contributor in the varsity rotation and while the bumps are expected, watching how Cofield recovers/adjusts will speak volumes on determining just how high his ceiling will be.
