Mixson was one of the taller prospects in attendance and when he used that size to his advantage around the rim, good things happened. Keeping things simple is the name of the game for the raw, but improving forward who has some capability away from the basket as he knocked down a few jumpers both off the catch and off his own creation. When he was in the paint, Mixson was cleaning up misses, closing down possessions defensively and altering shots with his length and presence.
