We dive into the positional rankings. We move over to the small forwards for the rising sophomore class.
Here are the top-7 SF’s in the 2026 class:
Cameron Holmes Cameron Holmes 6'5" | SF Millennium | 2026 State AZ Millennium
One of the top all-around defenders in the AIA is another Team USA participant. He shadows his opponents on the perimeter about as well as you could with his size, length, strength and quicker feet. He scores on deep threes off the catch, highlight dunks in transition and occasional pull-ups.
Colton Watson Colton Watson 6'6" | SF Sandra Day O’Connor | 2026 State AZ Sandra Day O’Connor
A long and athletic defensive wing forward. He has plus athleticism to throw it down easily and will consistently rip thru and score in heavy traffic or even dunk it in the lane. He will defend the 2-5 for his team, make a jumper and use his wingspan to collect steals.
Jacob Webber Jacob Webber 6'6" | SF Kearney (NE) | 2026 NE Scottsdale Christian Academy
One of the top shooters in the 2026 class has a beautiful looking stroke. The ball rotates like it should and he gets it out of his hands quickly. He likes to catch and shoot from the three point line but will post up and fall away from his defender often.
Matt Delgado Matt Delgado 6'5" | SG Boulder Creek | 2026 State AZ Boulder Creek
A versatile all-around wing does a little bit of everything to affect an outcome. He shoots the three, defends multiple positions, handles the ball like a guard, can post up his defender, rebounds well and makes smart reads to his teammates.
JD Jones JD Jones 6'4" | SF Phoenix Country Day | 2026 State AZ Phoenix Country Day
A strong forward can play inside and out. The son of James Jones plays the game like a point forward type with good court vision and timing. He rebounds anything near him and gobbles up rebounds and will block shots.
AJ Harris AJ Harris 6'5" | SF Canyon View | 2026 State AZ Canyon View (Pictured)
A long wing forward is another who is comfortable playing inside and out. He can step out and shoot the three plus work in the paint and score on put backs, dunks and is becoming a very good rebounder. He is able to defend many positions.
Brayden Barrett Brayden Barrett 6'5" | SF Millennium | 2026 State AZ Millennium
Another wing who is one of the top shooters in the 2026 class. He always squares up quickly and has a fast trigger to get his shot off before the defenders close out to him. He is best off the catch but can dribble drive and work inside and score on put backs.
