As you would imagine, Rock impacted the game with his height and length. He scored around the basket with polished moves & skills. He changed the game around the him with his rim protecting and rebounding. Rock recently made some big news, he is reclassifying and going to Iowa State a year early.
He showed off his power and above-the-rim finishes. The BIG Sioux Valley PF had countless dunks. Many of them were in traffic and he even postered a defender in the Championship. Alec has a nose for the ball and this led to a ton of rebounds. Squires is a physical defender that plays hard 100% of the time. SDSU got a good one!
He brought the energy and juice to the Finals. St. Romain played with a never-lose attitude and he propelled his team to the Final 4. The Bison football commit played with swag and a ton of confidence. He was hot & productive from 3, made plays in transition, and did the little things to help the squad. Isiah was also a great teammate with excellent communication, a positive attitude, and all-around unselfishness.
Fairbanks showed off his shooting/scoring ability in the semifinals with 24 points, and 6 triples. Dom shot well all tournament and he got to the rim for scores. He was also good at penetrating and kicking out to shooters. Fairbanks showed his playmaking ability in the PNR game and did a nice job as an undersized defender. Dom played a ton of minutes over the weekend and he took care of the rock.
He shot the ball at an outrageous rate this past weekend and he did it in every game. Tietz did not just score from deep he also got to the rim for buckets. As always, Logan was a high energy guy that made positive plays with his effort and athleticism. He finished well around the basket and proved to be a tough tough defender once again.
