He had a good showing at the Finals and his polished skills were on full display. An impact player with extreme length
WHY? I will not actually get a chance to watch JT again until he plays college ball for the Cyclones. Rock played his last Prep Hoops Circuit event and his final AAU tournament will be this weekend in Sioux Falls. JT recently reclassified and he will now head to Ames this fall and forego his senior season at Lincoln.
From everyone at Prep Hoops Dakotas….Best of Luck at Iowa State!

As you would imagine, Rock impacted the game with his height and length. He scored around the basket with polished moves & skills. He changed the game around the him with his rim protecting and rebounding. Rock recently made some big news, he is reclassifying and going to Iowa State a year early.

JT has been dominant in the games I have seen this weekend and he has led Sanford Sports to the semifinals on Sunday. The 7’1” center is a force inside, controlling the boards, finishing right through defenders, and constantly altering opponent’s shots on defense. He also really impressed me with his ability to create looks for himself using the dribble as well.

The 7 footer was a monster shot blocker across the games I saw. Whether he was sending shots flying off the court, or simply altering otherwise good looks, JT kept plenty of points off the board. Moves well at 7′ and has good timing when he jumps to contest. Offensively he was facing constant physical defense often from multiple players at a time, so the touches weren’t always there. He was efficient with the looks he did get though, as he simply had to turn over his left shoulder and use his soft touch to finish with a baby-hook. Showed off some athleticism with an alley-oop against MN Rush towards the end of Sunday.
