The players get a chance to stay in the IWU dorms and play several games over a 48 hour span. I had boots on the ground Friday night checking out some of the action. Here is a quick rundown of the prospects that really stood out from the games that I was able to watch at Super Hoops.
One of the more skilled guards in Indiana’s Class of 2025, Couto displayed the full range of his game on Friday night. The 5’11” scorer is so much more than a great shooter. Couto can also run the point where he displays good court vision and passing ability. Off of the ball, he never stops moving, reads screens well, and shows a high basketball IQ. He is perfect backcourt piece for a Motion offense. Looks for his recruitment to take a leap between now and the end of July.
This 6’4″ wing picked up his first offer this week from Toledo and by the looks of how he played on Friday evening at Super Hoops it will not be his last. Konieczny is so highly skilled. He can shoot the ball from beyond the arc, finish around the basket, and handles the ball at a high level for his size on the perimeter. Look for his recruitment to stay hot going into the month of July.

Christian Academy fell short against Kankakee Valley in game two, but Renfro put up 30 and 21 points respectively to start the Super Hoops weekend off right. His elite shooting ability cannot be questioned as he can make them off of the dribble, from the catch, and well beyond the three-point line. The Class of 2025 prospect is one of the better shooters and pure scorers in the class.

Tewari is one of the better under-the-radar prospects in Indiana’s Class of 2024. He is an efficient scorer from all three levels with some solid athleticism as a 6’2″ guard. The Yorktown product gets very good elevation on his jump shot, can really shoot from beyond the arc, and knifes his way into the paint to score inside. Small college coaches should take a look at him on Saturday at the Top 100 Showcase and going into the month of July as well.

After averaging 18.2 points per game as a junior, this left-handed guard has backed it up with a strong spring with 94 Feet Elite and then a good showing at Super Hoops with his Kankakee Valley team on Friday night. His scoring ability was a big part of their win over Christian Academy as he got hot during a couple of different stretches from deep and showed some athleticism while finishing with both hands at the end of his drives.
