Sean Reynolds Sean Reynolds 6'1" | SG Dekalb | 2025 State IL (DeKalb)
Reynolds made a statement on Friday afternoon dropping 30 points against Normal Community while nailing seven from beyond the arc. The 6’1” shooting guard is a lights out three point shooter that can make them in bunches like he did in this game. Did it off movement, spotting up, and creating on his own. Mixed in some transition scores, but is a shooting specialist at the next level for sure.
Ryder Raya Ryder Raya 6'2" | SG Niles Notre Dame | 2025 State IL (Niles Notre Dame)
Raya caught our attention and put himself on our radar with a strong showing at Romeoville. The 6’2” thin and wiry guard can really let it fly from deep as he recorded 20 points including six triples in the game we saw. Keep an eye out for him moving forward.
Al Brooks Al Brooks 6'6" | SF Hansberry | 2025 State #239 Nation IL Jr (Hansberry)
Brooks is a two way wing that impacts the game on both ends. Defensively he guards multiple spots, blocks shots both inside along with on the perimeter, and has active hands getting steals taking them the other way for points. Offensively he scores on straight line takes, spin moves, and can post up. Very active offensive rebounder for second chance points. Jumper is a work in progress and is the aspect that could take him to the next level.
Ikee Brooks Ikee Brooks 5'11" | PG Hansberry | 2025 State IL (Hansberry)
Really liked what we saw from Brooks against Stevenson. The scoring combo guard pushed the pace with his speed as always showing burst going end to end in transition. Downhill slasher that can stop and pop from 15-18 feet. Made a couple nice quick passes and was a good defender.
Atticus Richmond Atticus Richmond 6'7" | PF Stevenson | 2025 State IL (Stevenson)
First look at this broad shouldered four man. The 6’8” power forward had a big dunk, drained a three, and converted a sweet reverse layup. Flies in on the glass on both ends of the floor. One to track moving forward!
Grant Best Grant Best 6'3" | SG Mt. Carmel | 2025 State IL (Mt. Carmel)
Best is the ultimate glue guy surrounding the senior stars for Mt. Carmel. The shooting guard is a knock down three point marksmen that hits them at a good clip. Acrobatic finisher around the cup that makes plays doing the little things to help his team win.
Jake Nosek (Metea Valley)
This 6’8” post is about to fly up the board in our next rankings update! He has legit size and is a big time stretch five that made five of them in the game we saw. Long and lanky big man can also shot fake and move it in a few steps for a shot or even get to the rim. Defensively he moves his feet pretty well and is a plus shot blocker.
Justin Bowen Justin Bowen 6'5" | SF Lincoln Park | 2025 State IL (OPRF)
Liked what we saw from Bowen over the weekend. The strong bodied rising junior is a skilled wing that can play bully ball getting downhill in transition. Also is a capable shooter and has a crisp handle. Like the combination of physical tools and skill here.
Elijah Lovemore Elijah Lovemore 6'2" | PG Bloom | 2025 State #344 Nation IL (Bloom)
Lovemore is one of the top combo guards in the 2025 class. Smooth ball handler that can get where he needs on the floor to score for athletic conversions on reverse layups or moving the ball around defenders for conversions. Shot it pretty well on pull ups from two and three. Showed improved passing feel and pushed off his defense when getting steals.
Phoenix Gill Phoenix Gill 6'3" | SG St. Ignatius | 2025 State #72 Nation IL (St. Ignatius)
Gill is in contention for the top spot in the 2025 class. The shooting guard from St. Ignatius showed why in a masterful performance at Romeoville. He scored 18 points making it look super easy. Corner three followed by an array of slick takes and crossovers to the rip. Plus driver that when he sees an open shooter is excellent at finding them for the dime. High level defender that shut down Neuqua Valley’s star player. All-around two guard that can play on the ball some when needed. High-major all the way.
Antonio Munoz Antonio Munoz 6'6" | SF Whitney Young | 2025 State #194 Nation IL (Whitney Young)
Munoz had some of the biggest WOW plays of the weekend. He threw down some huge dunks including recreating the famous Wade to LeBron dish on a man’s head! I think what we are starting to realize about Munoz is he is the versatile utility piece at the high-major level that will defend at a high level, be a good connector, and excel off his athleticism along with instincts.
Colby Smith Colby Smith 6'3" | PG New Trier | 2025 State IL (New Trier)
Smith is a heady floor general that plays with a steady hand. He did a nice job in the game we saw getting everyone involved setting up his shooters and picking his spots to score.
Daniel Pauliukonis Daniel Pauliukonis 6'8" | SF Benet | 2025 State IL (Benet)
Pauliukonis is a thin bodied four man with a skilled game. The power forward is a floor stretcher that can shoot it, finish out of the dunker spot, and score on the move. Seals well on the block and has potential as a defender especially if he adds strength.
Aleks Alston Aleks Alston 6'9" | PF Kenwood | 2025 State #170 Nation IL (Kenwood)
Alston is also in serious consideration for the top spot in 2025. The 6’9” lefty point-forward was awesome in their first game on Sunday. Notched 20 points starting off with a pair of threes. Then a give and go finish. Pushes well in the open floor. Also did a nice job posting up for quick moves and finishing out of the high-post on drives. Excellent passing flair to his game.
Jayden Tyler Jayden Tyler 6'0" | PG Homewood Flossmoor | 2025 State IL (Homewood Flossmoor)
Tyler is a smaller scoring combo guard that lit up the nets for 19 points against Kenwood. Volume shooter that can knock down shots from distance as he hit three triples in this one along with using his speed in the open floor to finish.
