Pangos All-American: Most Versatile

<p>LAS VEGAS — The 2023 Pangos All-American Camp has become a must-attend event for top prospects from around the country. Bishop Gorman high school was crawling with media, writers, scouts and NBA personnel for the three day event. We were able get eyes on every team and every player in attendance. Below is a breakdown of the most versatile players we saw.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1131775' first='Derrion' last='Reid'], 2024, Grovetown (GA)</h4>   <p>Reid is a guy who epitomizes versatility on the basketball court. At 6-feet-6 with a long, wiry frame, the senior-to-be is a dribble, pass and shoot threat on the offensive end who can attack from multiple spots of the floor and in many different settings. Reid's defensive rebounding allows him to push the break while his IQ and passing instincts allow him to play a point-forward type of role. Reid can operate with his back to the basket in the mid and low-post areas and can also step out onto the perimeter and break down defenders off the bounce.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1125998' first='Jalen' last='Shelley'], 2024, Prestonwood Academy (TX)</h4>   <p>Shelley is another long, wiry, fluid and athletic wing on this list whose skill-set is made for the modern three position. At 6-feet-7, the Texas-based prospect is adept at creating advantages off the dribble where he uses his ball handling and shot-making ability to create mismatches on the perimeter. Shelley showed deep range on this three-point shot that he connected on both off the dribble and off the catch.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">Naasir Cunningham, 2024, Overtime Elite (GA)</h4>   <p>Cunningham is a skilled wing who, at 6-feet-7, can stretch the floor to the three-point line but also break defenders down off the bounce and get to the rim. The OTE product is a fluid, shifty and quick athlete at the point of attack whose combination of size, length and creativity off the bounce allows him to succeed in various offensive situations. Cunningham is also a good rebounder out of his area and made it a point to chase down loose balls and jump-start transition offense.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1630618' first='Nik' last='Khamenia'], 2025, Harvard-Westlake (CA)</h4>   <p>Khamenia continues to emerge as a national name in the class of 2025. The 6-foot-8 SoCal-based wing can play just about any position or in any role on the offensive end because of his skill-set and overall basketball IQ. The rising junior is an elite passer for his size and made it a point to be unselfish and look to set up teammates. Khamenia can push the break, make reads in the open court and knock down open shots within the flow of the offense.</p>   <h4 class="wp-block-heading">[player_tooltip player_id='1630616' first='Tounde' last='Yessoufou'], 2025, St. Joseph (CA)</h4>   <p>Yessoufou is consistently one of the top athletes in any gym he steps in and his all-around skill is catching up to the explosive athleticism that made him a high priority prospect in the 2025 class. The 6-foot-5 wing is an elite finisher around the rim - both through and above contact - but has been expanding his game to the perimeter as well. Yessoufou is a respectable three-point shooter who has the ball skills to but the ball on the deck and get to the rim. Where Yessoufou impacts the game most is on the defensive end and on the glass. His lateral speed, strength and length allow him to defend multiple positions while his elite leaping ability makes him a high-rate defensive rebounder.</p>
