Akili Johnson
Akili Johnson
The long slender Johnson is a little behind as a 2024 big. At 6’8 he’s long, wiry moves okay. He does have some presence in the paint to go after blocks, and change some shots at this level. He jumps pretty good and will get rebounds at his peak, arms extended. He has good weak side vision to help. He has a turnaround jumper in the paint. He’s on our radar now.

He’s a guard that doesn’t make a lot of mistakes. He’ll be making the move to the Varsity next season. He’s a good ball handler with good vision and passing. He ran the team in half-court sets. He had good movement on the defensive side of the ball staying in front of his man and getting a hand in the face to make it tough for shooters.
Jaden Beamon Santos

He’s a two sport athlete (football) that’s going to be playing Varsity for the first time. He’s a thick body with good bounce to go after blocks, and defend bigger players in the post. He does well filling lanes in transition. He’s a triple threat at the high post. He’ll use his dribble and muscle to take the baseline.
Vann-Kelly has to be accounted for when he’s out by the 3pt line, he can shoot it, but he’s not limited to just putting up 3’s. We saw slashes and cuts to the basket for points, he showed quickness off the dribble to get into the paint. He scored off two using his length inside. He finishes transition layups, and made his free throws.
Highlights
The 6’5 forward has put in the work and has become an effective go to guy in the post for this team. He’s strong with good movement. He’s improved his low post foot work using a variety of moves with balance to score in the post, he hit short jumpers. He’s a conditioned athlete who gives good effort going after rebounds, defending, and running the court.
Miller showed off his combo guard skills with this team. He’s a quality guard who settles the team half-court. He has good vision and quality passing, he’s a ball mover. He uses his body to protect the ball. He’ll drop 3’s along the perimeter, and coming down in transition if you don’t account for him.
Obenyah is a rising prospect in the 2026 class. He’s long with good handles, he uses good moves to turn corner and get into the paint. He moves without the ball cutting and slashing finishing with his long reach at the rim, you can throw him a lob. He has lengthy arms to defend on the perimeter, and toughness to help on the boards.
