Scottie Adkinson Scottie Adkinson 6'3" | SG Webster Groves | 2027 State MO (Webster Groves): The 6’2″ guard looked every bit the part of a player who is going to be an impact player as a freshman for the Statesmen in 2024. The young lefty was very creative with the ball in his hands as he attacked the basket successfully with a variety of escape moves off the dribble. He could also knock down the 3-pointer to keep defenders honest. He also dropped some nice dimes while on the move. His on-ball defense was very solid as he guarded some very talented wing players and held his own. He is one of the top incoming freshmen in the state.

Jimmy McKinney Jr. Jimmy McKinney Jr. 6'2" | SG Vashon | 2027 State MO (Beyond Stars): The 6’0″ guard is another top incoming freshman who will be at Vashon next season, where his father was a star player in the early 2000s. Young Jimmy is a potent offensive player with a nice shooting stroke from 3-point range. He can also get his own shot off the dribble with creative handles. He also showed the ability to get in the lane and get a bucket in traffic.
******
Jackson Tabash (St Mary’s): The 5’8″ guard was one of the most impressive perimeter shooters we watched during the weekend. He showed supreme confidence in his shooting stroke has he drained at least 4-5 triples in each game he played. He did an excellent job of playing off of his teammates and moving to the open spots. His release was quick and he shot the ball with a lot of confidence.

Xavier Clark Xavier Clark 6'0" | SG St. Mary's | 2027 State MO (St. Mary’s): A 6’0″ combo guard who was an energizer bunny at both ends of the court throughout the weekend. He did a good job of applying consistent on-ball pressure on defense and he used his length to dart into passing lanes to create steals. On offense, he was a solid ball handler and passer who can shoot the ball well.

Brandon Rooks Brandon Rooks 6'0" | PG Battle | 2027 State MO (Battle): A talented young guard who is an up and coming prospect in the Mid-Mo area. He is a skilled combo guard who showed a nice feel for the game, even while playing against older competition. His handles were good and he was a capable offensive threat in the lane with a floater or pull up jumper. He played well off the ball as he moved to open spots and could hit the open 3-pointer.
