As the new 2024 class rankings have been released, I will be taking a deeper look every conference to see which top players are playing in that conference. Here is the WESCO 2A/3A, the number inside the parentheses is where they are ranked inside the entire class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450563' first='Jaxon' last='Dubiel'] (25) - Mountlake Terrace HS

Dubiel is a player who has improved his game quite a bit since last summer. He scores at all 3 levels very well, being able to attack and blow by defenders using his speed. He is patient with the ball in his hands and runs the offense very well. He also guards the opposing teams best player and makes plays on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450954' first='Isaiah' last='White'] (33) - Everett HS

Isaiah has very good size for the point guard position, standing at 6'4". He is crafty with the ball and can finish athletically through traffic using his length. He creates exceptionally for his teammates and himself. He finds his open teammates often and does so at a high rate. I believe his game will take another step headed into next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450931' first='John' last='Floyd'] (42) - Stanwood HS

Floyd is a lefty guard who is aggressive on the court and plays at a high pace, yet is under controlled always. His smooth lefty shot goes in more ties than not. He runs the floor in transition, being able to dish to his teammates or rise up for the slam. He rebounds better than other players at his position. John is a player who could be rising in the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450955' first='Anthony' last='Najera'] (43) - Everett HS

Anthony is headed into his 3rd team in 3 seasons but is ready to find a home at Everett. Last year with Shorecrest, they had a lot of talent on the squad already when Najera joined the team and just couldn't fit in as well as he wanted. He can score at all 3 levels and shoots the ball VERY efficently. He attacks the ball with force and is going to make noise with Everett.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450489' first='Zaveon' last='Jones'] (46) - Mountlake Terrace HS

Zaveon is an insane athlete. He excels in 2 sports, football being the other. He knows his role on the court and always is able to get his job done on the court. He is aggressive on the boards and pulls down over 5 every game. He gets his points as well, finishing in the paint well. He plays bigger than what his frame is, helping him match-up against bigger opponents.

[player_tooltip player_id='1463070' first='Jaymon' last='Wright'] (81) - Meadowdale HS

Jaymon is quick and crafty on the court with the ball in his hands. He has shifty moves that helps him create space to either pull up for the mid-range shot, drive to the bucket, or find his open teammates. He can hit the deep shot too, showing a lot of improvement over the AAU season. I am excited to watch Wright's senior year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1450618' first='Max' last='Mayo'] (97) - Stanwood HS

Max is the other half to the Stanwood backcourt, teaming up with [player_tooltip player_id='1450931' first='John' last='Floyd']. Mayo has a high basketall IQ on the court, being able to run the offense smoothly. He can stop on a dime and hit mid-range shots with ease but can also use his body to get aggressive while in the paint. Max and John are going to be a duo that stands out next season.
