Michael Marcus Jr Michael Marcus Jr 6’9″ | C Covenant Day | 2024 State NC is a big man in NC’s 2024 class that’s starting to gain traction on the recruiting trail of late. He’s been a productive name in the Upward Stars 3SSB frontcourt this spring as a finisher around the rim and defensive presence in the paint. App State, Lehigh and Rice are a few of the Division I programs that have drawn strong interest in the 6-foot-9 big man over at Carmel Christian School. He’s one to keep an eye on in the Top 100.
Trey Manhertz Trey Manhertz 6’6″ | PF Green Level | 2024 State NC is an emerging name to get to know at Green Level High and with Garner Road Select on the grassroots scene. He’s a versatile forward that plays with a ton of energy in the frontcourt as a finisher in the paint and defender around the rim. He’s continued to improve as time progresses and is certainly a name for colleges to get to know this summer given his skillset in at the forward spot.

Alex Rechetnikov Alex Rechetnikov 6’4″ | SG Southern Wake Academy | 2024 State NC is a prospect that’s had himself a productive spring already with UpNext Hoops. He’s a big mover in the 2024 rankings as he moves into the top 100 at the 78th spot. He’s capable of knocking down shots on the perimeter and off the bounce at volume when given opportunities. He’s one to keep an eye on as he finds his confidence on the hardwood.
Another big mover into the top 100 in North Carolina’s 2024 class in the Charlotte area, Jordan Patton Jordan Patton 6’5″ | SF JL Chambers | 2024 State NC is due for a breakout senior season with JL Chambers High this upcoming season. He’s quite the two-way presence that can defend the 1-3 spots while rebounding in bunches and making things happen off the bounce offensively. Voorhees College has already offered the versatile wing prospect.

Gift Moses Gift Moses 6’6″ | SF Enloe | 2024 State NC continues to climb up the radar in North Carolina’s 2024 class as he moves into the 86th spot. He’s a prospect that’s capable of playing either forward spot given his length and athleticism at 6-foot-6. He can operate on the perimeter and in the paint on both ends given his frame as well. He’s a name for DII and DIII programs to get eyes on in the region over the next few months out of Enloe High and with Harvest Basketball Academy on the grassroots stage.
Chris Crudup Chris Crudup 6’3″ | PG Southern Wake Academy | 2024 State NC continues to climb up the radar this spring given his exploits on the hardwood with Team Curry East . He’s a prospect that’s capable of operating at either guard spot given his ability to attack the paint and knock down shots in space. He’s another name in the Raleigh area for DII and DIII programs in the region to get eyes on.
