Jacob Wendell
Jacob Wendell
Wendell had to shoulder a lot of the playmaking duties yesterday but he carried it well. He has great vision in the half court, finding skips out of pressure, locating cutters with well-timed passes and showing an ability to stretch the floor with the shot.

Boone was a step or two, or three ahead of most other players on the floor against Oly Basketball Academy yesterday. He got up and down the court in a hurry and found handfuls of buckets with runaway layups. He also showed he can get to the rim in the half court and was a consistent finisher at the cup all afternoon.
Sheeran is a quick little guard who displayed some real craftiness at the rim yesterday. He’s able to set up defenders on the perimeter with a sweeping crossover and explode past them into the middle of the defense. He was a good hustle guy yesterday as well, and really left his imprint on the game.
Kenyon was one of the, if not the most impressive player I watched yesterday. It seemed nothing could slow him down even as he played games for both BDH Elite and Roots Academy. He was strong with the ball going inside, strong rebounding, made big plays defensively, and his shooting touch was on point all day long. Even after playing all day long with two teams, he found the energy for a big throw down in the 9pm game last night to cap a monster day.
Highlights
Stanton is a shifty kid with some good length at 6-foot-4. He was able to catch from the high post and the perimeter and weave his way to the bucket from either side. He has a tantalizing blend of size and shake, showing all game against Roots that he could break his man down and get stuff going to the rim.
Ajani Winzer
Ajani Winzer
I had seen some of Winzer and his Gametime teammates just a couple of weeks ago at the Premier Spring Showcase, but I was just as impressed then as I was watching them again yesterday. Winzer is a taller kid who can score with a big arcing shot from downtown, but really looks his best getting physical on downhill drives to the hoop.
Donovan Gill
Donovan Gill
Gil is a long kid that can also stroke from outside given a little room, but really makes his mark with athletic and controlled play in the paint. He makes some big hustle plays that add up over the course of the game and can be a tough guy to pin down once he gets near the rim.
Barbee turned it up a notch yesterday and was consistently putting pressure on defenses with his aggressive but patient drives to the hoop. He was strong with the ball, made the defense respect him every time he caught the ball, and was able to clean up the shots he did miss with a lightning quick second jump. He was a big force for BDH over the entire day.
Andrew Vindivich
Andrew Vindivich
This guy has a really nice all-around game. He has great vision up the court, can break down defenders to create looks for himself or open up driving lanes that lead to dump offs and kick outs. He made a killing from the mid-range with a quick stop pullup that more often than not found bottom.
