Recruiting is starting to heat up for several players heading into the summer but some prospects are in need of some more shine. Here are some players who have the potential to turn heads the next few months.
Brayden plays in a loaded backcourt at LCA but has had ample opportunity to play with the ball in his hands this Spring with Kentucky Future Elite. As a prospect, Mirus takes multiple viewings to appreciate all the things he does to impact winning. Long term, Brayden projects as a point guard and should have opportunities to play at the next level.
Harris is a long and athletic combo forward with a lot of potential to be an impact player at the next level. Hayden is 6’6 and bouncy with the ability to get to the bucket from the wing. Highlights
Coleman missed his Sophomore season with an injury but had a big Junior campaign and showed that he should be mentioned amongst the best 2024 guards in the sixth region. Malachi has been playing more as a point guard in the last year or so and should be a full time point guard next season with the transfer of Damone King Damone King 6’0″ | PG DeSales | 2024 State KY to DeSales.
Daviess County is seeing an influx of talent this summer as they have transfers from multiple schools who have landed in Owensboro but Phelps is one of the top returners for the Panthers. Gage is having a big AAU season for Kentucky Supreme and should ride that momentum into a big summer where he could draw attention from multiple colleges.
