Landon Dimler Landon Dimler 6'5" | SG Mankato West | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Lightning (Mankato West). Landom Dimler is about to be a name that pops to people. He was an underclassmen big number getter at JWP and this past season he was an all league player in the Big Nine. Dimler is well built, he is 6’4, he handles it solid to be a combo but has a touch and agility on the wing to be a straight two, and he is consistent. Dimler is a player I think that could make a monster jump this off-season in the eyes aa a prospect.
Mehki Edwards of Minnesota Sports and Leadership Academy (Irondale). Edwards was a beast all weekend with his 20 plus points a game and the ten plus boards a contest. He combined a face-up game with overpowering strength and leverage in the post plus he scored in off the ball ways giving his team late possession chances of put-backs and moving behind the play. A lot of potential for a huge season next winter as this is a player that wins his post far more often than not.
Parker Fahning Parker Fahning 6'7" | PF Eden Prairie | 2024 State MN of Real Phenom (Eden Prairie). Parker is 6’6, he moves well up front both getting up and down the floor and moving his feet with agility on screens, and is quick off his feet to do things around the cup. Played JV last year at Eden Prairie but he surely has the look of a JV to big minutes guy as a senior type. Parker had consistent good numbers for a balanced team that averaged out to five/six scores and six/seven boards a game for the weekend. And when you consider his potential to be an agile 6’6 defender…. he has the making of being the next junior varsity junior to high school senior that plays well and goes to the MIAC.
Fitz Freeman Fitz Freeman 6'6" | C Robbinsdale Armstrong | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Chill (Robbinsdale Armstrong). Fitz is the kind of new names to know from the past weekend. I think he has taken a massive step forward and should have a huge senior year. He looks like a Myles Garrett high school type out there with strength, 6’5 height, big hands and really active play. But this is not some celebrity hoops all star game, Freeman did a great job in the paint for Chill getting his length on the ball, getting his body to rebounding spots, and he’s quite agile. Really looking forward to how he develops as he could surely be a college basketball player in a good spot.
Ronald Lee Ronald Lee 6'2" | SG Benilde-St. Margaret's | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Spartans (BSM). Not quite a new name but a name that needs to be noted for his outstanding efforts last weekend. Lee is a matured, strong guard and he was needed in a constant playmaker role and he did that for a team that won three games over the weekend. Lee got downhill regularly, great pace push, and I loved the toughness. Got in guys ball pressure wise and he used his grit and strength to get to corner turns in the halfcourt set. Should really help BSM next year, looked great with the ball in his hands this past weekend.
Andrew Weber Andrew Weber 6'0" | CG St. Agnes | 2024 State MN of Minnesota Crossfire (St. Agnes). I feel like I have been reading box scores and looking at previews with the name Andrew Weber Andrew Weber 6'0" | CG St. Agnes | 2024 State MN in them for ten years but this past weekend I got my longest view of Andrew and I thought he looked great. The 5’11 guard was very steady with the ball, each decision was calculated and with out mistakes. He shot the ball when he had the space and I loved his patience and sharp first dribble into space when he saw the opening. Scored in the mid-teens of both games I went by of his team.
