Twin Cities Takedown. What teams at the Takedown really stepped up and took a big step forward with impressive victories? We give you the list:
Minnesota Lightning King had maybe the biggest impact of the 15s weekend. They went 4-0 in Pool A and three of those wins were big margin victories.
E.A.T Hoops had a great weekend winning their pool and then winning their cross pool game as well! Three of the four games were by an impressive margin.
Minneapolis Central is another team we need to get some better opponents for because they also went 4-0 and beat several of their teams convincingly last weekend.
Strong weekend for Minnesota Crossfire Ronning won pool E and won their crossover game with F, and two of those wins were great games won by a single point.
D1 Minnesota ‘s Adidas team went 4-0 beating several strong 16u teams from Minnesota, North Dakota and Wisconsin.
Midwest Festival of Teams. Minnesota Fury Zurn went down to the Midwest Festival of Teams in Iowa and lost their first game of the season to 4VLegacy but then bounced back to win their next three games in convincing fashion.
Spring Extravaganza. Comets Dahl went 5-0 in the Council Bluffs event winning the bronze division (fourth division of bracket play). Comets Elite lost in the quarters of the third division and Gain Elite lost in the semis of the second division. Comets Dahl continues to roll, they have won 11 of 13 games this year including that win over Comets Elite the previous weekend.
