Jaden Morgan Jaden Morgan 6’4″ | SG DeLaSalle | 2024 State MN proved to be a great addition to the Minnesota Select program as he shot the ball at a high level every time I watched them play. Physically he’s a very intriguing prospect as he possesses good size at 6’5, and he was also one of the most athletic wings in the whole event. He had a pair of big time dunks in the games I watched, including one where he just seemed to fly to the rim in transition. Jaden also shot the ball at a very high level from three. I don’t have exact numbers, but I’d bet he shot over 50% in the games I saw. Does a great job of staying ready to shoot off the ball so that he can quickly catch and fire when the ball comes his way.

Wilson Amos
Wilson Amos
Wilson put in an extremely efficient scoring performance against ECI Prospects, shooting 10-14 on his way to 22 points in a win. His off-ball activity was highly effective as he was cutting hard, working for low-post position, and scrapping for second chance opportunities around the rim. At 6’6 he was able to power through contact and showcased good body control which helped him to finish at such a high percentage inside. Really intelligent player who doesn’t need to dribble much to put points on the board for his team.
I only caught the second half of MN Rise’s game against Pride Roc, but Colton had some moments of dominance to fend off any comeback attempt. He’s a versatile player who can bounce between the wing and the paint because of his skill and mobility at 6’5. Benson put his frame to use getting to the basket, as he’s strong enough to power through contact or bully defenders into deep position before finishing over the top. Has a quick release off the catch but can also read the closeout and blow by the defender if they over commit. Colton has been highly productive any time I’ve watched him this spring.
This was my first time seeing Brooks in-person since the fall, and I was impressed with the strength he’s put on. Even while playing up a year, he usually had the size advantage on his man and put it to use with some strong takes to the basket. He’s an explosive athlete off one foot, but I thought he was at his most efficient when he jump stopped to play off two feet as it allowed him to catch his balance and power up through contact. Also had some impressive passes where he got into the paint before dumping it in to one of his forwards around the rim. I knew he could put up big scoring numbers but the quality and quantity of assists he was dishing out was also impressive.

Shaun Wysocki Shaun Wysocki 6’7″ | SF Rochester Century | 2024 State MN had a stock-rising weekend in front of D2 and some D1 coaches over the weekend with Minnesota Lightning. His frame is enough to immediately catch your eye as he’s a 6’6 wing with long arms who moves well. After helping lead his team to a win over DENY Basketball, he had a big game to lead his team past Real Phenom. He showcased good body control around the rim, the ability to hit shots off the dribble, and threw down an explosive dunk in the open floor. Shaun’s length allows him to get up in the passing lanes, and he’s versatile enough to guard most spots at the high school level. Impressed with his high level of production leading his team to a 4-0 record.

Noah Pagotto
Noah Pagotto
Noah came to the United States as part of a four week tour with AUSA Hoops in hopes of earning a college scholarship, and has since committed to West Texas A&M. It’s easy to see why they jumped in on his recruitment, as he has a mature frame with excellent positional size at 6’8. Moves well at his size and is a physical presence who gets after it on defense and rebounds hard. Every weekend on the Prep Hoops Circuit he’s been bringing a level of physicality that has proven difficult to stop around the rim, but he’s also a smart player with how he works to open up scoring chances for himself and his teammates. High IQ basketball player who works hard and has the physical tools to match.
Ty spent his 8th grade year playing JV and some varsity minutes for Eden Prairie, which has made him stand out among his peers. Even with PJ Hoops playing up at the 15u level, Ty had another level of composure to his game. After a quiet first half he flipped a switch and took over in the second to lead his team past Team Iowa. Finished at a high percentage around the rim with both hands while also flashing a smooth stroke from three. Skilled player with good size and IQ for someone his age.
