[program_tooltip program_id='2078752' first='Upward' last='Stars'] Harvey Has Players:

[program_tooltip program_id='2078752' first='Upward' last='Stars'] Harvey is just one of the programs here in the Palmetto State with plenty of recruitable players for next year. [player_tooltip player_id='1155909' first='DJ' last='Harvey'], [player_tooltip player_id='986185' first='Brady' last='Poole'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1678545' first='Kayzzin' last='McDowell'] are just 3 players based out of the Upstate to keep an eye on.

Harvey a point guard helped Christ Church win a Class 1A State Championship this past season. DJ sets the tone for his squad and rarely ever goes off the floor. He will look to drop the floater or short jumper in the defender's face. DJ gets the ball into the gaps on the floor and really does a nice job of setting up his teammates.

Poole will be at Chesnee HS this coming according to his father Howie Poole. He played this past season at Broome HS. Brady a deceptive athlete at times has some shot making ability from around the floor and especially out behind the three-point line.

McDowell is crafty with the ball in his hands at times. He was able to finish at the rim with his left-hand. McDowell likes to utilize the bounce pass still (bit old school) to his mates. Kayzzin drove it to the rack with 2-3 dribbles from the top of the key. He finished with 18 points in a game we watched him in today.

[program_tooltip program_id='2078724' first='Carolina' last='Pressure'] 2024 Duo Plays Well:

[player_tooltip player_id='1158132' first='Jayden' last='Pretty'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1692194' first='Joshua' last='Smith'] have been consistent all spring long for the [program_tooltip program_id='2078724' first='Carolina' last='Pressure'] 2024 team. Pretty is highly effective working around the paint area with his ability to carve out space and finish around the bucket. The left-handed Pretty understands how to seal and work for position on the block. Jayden will look to drop it over his shoulder or use his soft touch out to the elbow and finish at times.

Smith a Stock-Riser this coming spring has been productive every time out it seems. Joshua will take a charge on command it seems. He understands on where to be on the floor to make plays happen. Smith really takes pride when it comes to defending. Oh yeah his shot has been working all spring long from the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1466165' first='Alex' last='Atkinson'] was on the bench but didn't play due to an altercation the night before. [player_tooltip player_id='1160754' first='Josiah' last='Peeples'] a left-handed guard from Cardinal Newman came to play today. Josiah was able to slash to the rack when he wasn't hitting some short mid-range jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1239543' first='Madden' last='Collins'] fresh off a Class 4A State Championship at Irmo HS brings a very competitive side to the game. Collins was extremely active on both ends of the floor when it came to offense and defense. Ge plays active in the passing lanes when it comes to picking up deflections and loose balls. Madden won't hesitate at all to take a touch shot from time and seems to be a ideal 3-level scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1239545' first='Jeremiah' last='Jacques'] brings a lot of TOUGHNESS and rugged play to the floor. Jeremiah plays every possession to the fullest at all times. He swarms the ball on defense and has no problems touching the paint on the other end. Jacques attends Orangeburg-Wilkinson HS.
