This article covers the top rebounders for 15U. Just like some people say, the possession is not over until the ball is scored or rebounded. Rebounding can have a tremendous impact on the outcome of the game. A lot of players rebounded the ball well, but lets found out who was the best.
Jakeb Daniels
Jakeb Daniels
Jakeb Daniels made a living and found a place on the court with how much he excelled as a rebounder. He dominated the glass, especially on the offensive end. A few times he would turn the offensive rebound into a putback. There were a few times that he grabbed a defensive rebound. Outside of that, he played strong interior defense, putting his broad frame to use. On one possession, he came away with a steal. He had some great shot contest, as well. It was a good game on the glass and on defense for him.
Braden Buckingham Braden Buckingham 6’0″ | PG Crossings Christian School | 2026 State OK is an elite player for his size. Despite only being listed at 5’10”, he always seem to find a way onto a player of the game type list whenever I watch him. That is contributed to him having a good knack scoring the ball, shooting, playing defense, and rebounding. He scored inside, hit a floater, and showed the ability to shoot the ball. He also acted as a playmaker, finding teammates for easy buckets. Now for the reason why he is on this list: his rebounding. He utilizes a mix of athleticism and aggressiveness, to go along with a good sense of where the ball is going off of the basket to rebound it. Whenever he grabs one of these rebounds, he pushes the pace extremely well. He looked impressive both games I watched him.
Highlights
Isiah Garrett
Isiah Garrett
Isiah Garrett excelled at two things in this game: rebounding and scoring inside. He rebounded the ball at a solid rate on the defensive end. He had a couple of offensive rebounds that he turned into putbacks. He showed the ability to finish inside the paint on multiple occasions. He utilized his size that was a step bigger than everyone else to help with the scoring inside and the rebounding. On one occasion, he knocked down a three pointer. It was a good game for him scoring the ball inside and rebounding.
Nolan Bilby
Nolan Bilby
Nolan Bilby put on a clinic with his scoring and rebounding. He was so dominant, despite playing older competition, that I could not have seen the second half and he would still be on the list. He would utilize a mix of his size and the ability to read where the ball is going off of the rim, that he grabbed one rebound after another. On one play, he blocked a shot and came away with the rebound. His size advantage came in handy with him scoring again and again in the paint. He showed the ability to drive and finish and also the ability to get into good position to receive the ball and score. It was a great game from him with his rebounding and scoring inside. He was easily the best rebounder on the court.
Mason Delaney Mason Delaney 6’4″ | SF Ruston | 2026 State LA put on a rebounding clinic, utilizing great size, being listed at 6’6. It was one of the best rebounding games I saw at the whole event, grabbing one board after another. He had several offensive rebounds, at least four, with three of them leading to a putback. On the defensive end, he did a good job of rebounding and looking to throw the outlet. He dominated on the defensive end, having four blocks at halftime. On one play, he blocked the shot, grabbed the rebound, and pushed the pace. This resulted in him scoring in transition. That instance and the putbacks were not the only times that he scored, as he scored inside on another occasion and hit a three at a different time. On defense, he showed quick hands to knock the ball out when the offensive player was driving on a drive. It was a great game for him.
Breon Ojehanon
Breon Ojehanon
Breon Ojehanon rebounded the ball extremely well. It was a good balance of offensive and defensive rebounds for him, with him rebounding at a high clip in this game. He carries a 6’4″ frame, which came in handy for him to dominate the glass. He would look for a teammate once he rebounded it or have an attempt inside, but there was not a lot of luck off of those. He scored inside occasionally, but his main impact came from rebounding. It was a good game for him in regards to that. Rebound specialist is what described him in the game I saw.
