Champagne has really stood out this spring with the North Oakland Wolfpack . He’s shown off a pretty jumper, but we all kind of knew that skill was there for him. It’s been his decision making on the move and his basketball IQ that has really stood out for me. Champagne seems to know when and how to get a high percentage scoring opportunity. College coaches an scouts should keep an eye in his direction for the rest of the spring.
Haight has made some people take a look at him and his game. I know that he’s forced me to do some research. He earned that right with the way he’s played this spring with All-In Sports. His straight line speed with the ball in his hands is severely underrated. The young man gets from A to B with a quickness. Haight has shot very well from beyond the arc, especially off the catch. He’s even shown the ability to use the shot fake to clear space.
Highlights
Elam has been on a tear so far this grassroots season. This young man can play with the best of the best in the state. He’s flat out been a bucket so far this spring for The Academy. Elam can attack off the bounce, finish athletically in the open floor and looks more comfortable with his jumper. His overall strength and toughness are probably underrated as well, as he can power his way to the rim shredding off contact.
