Midwest Melee: Parham’s Saturday AM Standouts

Cale pushed the tempo hitting players in stride when slashing to the rim. What Cosme never gets a lot of credit for is his ability to collapse defenses and find the right player open. Another aspect of his game I like is his ability to hit shots when things get close.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1541237' first='Jack' last='Dabbs'] (All IN Rodell) 2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dabbs is a do it all forward that scores in multiple fashions. He works well in the paint posting hard and finishing often through contact. As a slasher he attacks based off how defenses guard him and somehow he always ends up in the right position to score. Jack hit two threes as well to show he can stretch his offense out that far. Great showing Saturday morning.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1488791' first='Carson' last='Brownfield'] (Flight Athletics) 2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The physical guard from Flossmoor was a headache for ET21. Brownfield uses his body well spinning and weaving through crowded areas to create space for his shot. He often finished the play or got fouled. Carson also showed that he can make plays on fastbreaks finding teammates for assist or even get a slam for himself.&nbsp; I expect to see him as a stock riser for the spring.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1845363' first='Rajan' last='Roberts'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose']) 2026</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The best scoring guard of his class, Rajon made key shots in what was a really slow and plodding game. Roberts hit some big threes for [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] when they needed them the most. Rajan has a good handle and knows how to get separation on his shot. His game propelled [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] to a win. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Collin Gerrity ([program_tooltip program_id='2078376' first='Illinois' last='Attack']) 2024</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Gerrity is a do it all guard that played well on both sides of the ball Saturday morning. Collin played passing lanes really well which ended up in several steals, he converted most of those into points or assist. As combo guard Collin shoots it well and is a decent passer. He's for sure scholarship prospect.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2057324' first='Jaxon' last='Lisinski'] (Hardwood Midwest) 2025</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lisinski is a exceptional shooter that made 5 threes in the first half of the game. He scored well off the ball getting his shot off quick coming off flares and down screens. Jaxon looks to be a solid ball handler and passer. He has good instincts now that can only help him once coaches start recruiting him.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
