Still, there are a number of 2025s we believe college coaches are absolutely sleeping on. We don’t even need to watch them in June, because if it were up to us, the players highlighted below would receive a college scholarship offer today.
Jaden Banner Jaden Banner 6'6" | PF West Catholic | 2025 State PA – 6’6” / West Catholic / Philly Pride UAA / Small Forward: Thisversatile and athletic wing-forward posted a monster spring circuit. Banner can shoot triples, attack the rim off the bounce or slash to the cup for a catch and lay-in. On defense his size, quick lateral movement, enormous wingspan, and high IQ enable him to defend 2 through 5. Additionally, Banner provides extraordinary rim protection.
Adrian Brito Adrian Brito 6'6" | PF Pocono Mountain West | 2025 State PA – 6’5” / Pocono Mountain West / NEPA Elite / Small Forward: Brito (12.4 ppg. in 2022-23) is a traditional small forward prospect who can score with his back to the basket or via his effective face up game. In either scenario he can power through extreme contact for a bucket. As a bonus, Brito will lace the occasional three ball. Brito also cleans the glass at both ends and is a plus defender.
Gavin Doty Gavin Doty 6'4" | SF Phelps School | 2025 State PA – 6’4” / Phelps School / City Rocks EYBL / Small Forward: Simply put, Doty is a multi-skilled playmaker. Doty can splash jumpers from the baseline to the mid-range to the logo. He can get to the rim off the dribble where he frequently will dunk on an opponent’s head. Doty’s dribble pull-up game is highly underrated. With his court vision and team first instincts, Doty can facilitate for teammates too.
Jai’tavius Kelly Jai’tavius Kelly 6'5" | SG Chambersburg | 2025 State PA – 6’5″ / Chambersburg / Global Squad / Shooting Guard: Kelly is a ridiculous three-sport athlete (Also plays football & is the 2x state champion in the triple jump.) who posted a breakout sophomore campaign. On the interior Kelly (200 lbs.) can play bully ball, score over defenders, and convert on put backs. On the perimeter Kelly can drain jumpers from all over the floor. With his speed, athleticism and hops, Kelly is a serious transition threat as well. In 2022-23 this 1st team All Mid-Penn Conference selection averaged 17 points per contest.
Jacob Nguyen Jacob Nguyen 6'3" | SG Spring Ford | 2025 State PA – 6’3” / Spring Ford / Philly Pride UAA / Shooting Guard: To say that Nguyen assembled an epic sophomore season is an understatement. This elite shooter averaged 16 ppg., knocked home 76 triples, was a 1st Team All-PAC as well as 1st Team All-Area selection and the Mercury News POY. He pushed Spring Ford to the PAC title, the District 1-6A championship game and the 6A state semifinals. In addition to hitting threes, this high IQ prospect owns a crafty dribble pull up game and can score via floaters.
