With many similar players with similar games a few have really started to make a jump and a few other continue to open eyes. Looking for so many players to stock rise and for so many others that we missed make the list.
Jax is one of those big time stock risers we look for. He went from being somewhat unknown early as a freshman and had a solid grassroots season leading into last year. His high school season gave us a glimpse of what he can do as a next level prospect. Jax has some bounce that is developing and he has wiggle. His first step is nice and that shooting ability and range has not even begin to reach it’s peak. He has length which allows him to get his shots off. When it comes to attacking the rim he has great finishing ability. Most impressive aspect of his game is his defense. He can defend his tail off.
Highlights
John is a true combo guard. He can bring the ball up and get things going with his downhill play. He can really light it up from deep with his sharp shooting and he can attack the rim and hurt you with those timely pull up mid-range shots. John can also pick up full-court and turn defenders. That disruptive defense really fits his game as he plays with a high motor at all times. His high motor makes him tough to defend as well.
Highlights
Coleman is a knockdown shooter. This kid uses that pure looking shot coming off of the left hip and that high release. If you give him any space he is likely to shoot the ball at a high percentage. He can handle the ball very well as a lead guard at the high school level and he is getting better and his shooting is what has really made his stock rise. Kid has a lot of potential.
Augustine went from a project to a true next level prospect. With his height and athleticism as well as his wingspan being a game changer he is starting to really go to some go to moves on the offensive end. He is solid over both shoulders and he protects that ball very well against other shot blockers. He does not need to be point blank on his hooks he has some range there. The kid is an eraser down in the paint on defense. He is a shot blocker and he is just getting better. On offense when he patrols the baseline and gets touches there are not too many people that can jump with him right now. He will be a D1 prospect in time.
Highlights
Hunter possess a very mature and calm demeanor out there. He does not panic and you can see him process. His vision out on the floor is something that is noticeable. He scans the floor and is able to find his shooters and cutters. His strong simple moves to the basket allow him to draw two and drop off or kick. He is starting to really use that change of speeds to his advantage and he is also using different levels to his attack. This kid is ready to be a 15,5 and 5 guy for sure. Shooting ability helps him keep the defense close which works to his advantage as well. A LOT of upside with him.
