With Warriors Life Elite taking home the championship, we were witness to a lot of impressive basketball and some prospects that really made a name for themselves. Read below for some of my favorite guys from this weekend and what they do best.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1155750"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"Koebbe is an interesting prospect physically and skill-wise, as he's got great size to play the 3 or 4, but not necessarily the quickness to play a guard or wing spot. However, he uses his size and body control really well to score on the interior, and can also control the game on the glass with that same physicality. He's mainly doing his offensive work inside, with the finishes coming under and around the rim. Defensively, he's better when guarding post-up bigs or others that he doesn't have to chase all over the court, but he can be used as a solid post defender inside. His game is a bit more old-school, requiring more paint touches and drives, but he projects as someone schools are going to want to get an eye on and add to their 2024 class.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["1126216"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Portis is an intriguing unsigned senior prospect that could make an impact late in the process for a lower level school. He showed off his leaping ability to make some serious plays as a rim protector and shot blocker, and he was someone that was not able to be scored on often when I watched. He has some guard skills in his dribbling and scoring, showing off a nice pull up midrange off the dribble drive. He can get to the bucket with his strength and the ability to take the ball himself to the rim, and could be used as a slashing wing/forward at the next level. He showcased his skillset as a complete floor general but really had his scoring ability on display today. He's a lefty who attacks open space and really gets going when defenders are a step slow to him. He finishes at the rim with some slitheriness and can make mid-range jumpers when needed. He's got great burst and explosiveness, just what I like out of a scoring combo guard or point guard. He finished well in transition where his team got a bunch of runouts, and a lot of that was started by him and [player_tooltip player_id='854912' first='Israel' last='Powell'] on the defensive end with their length and energy to disrupt entry passes into the post/paint. He also scored well from deep, knocking down a couple of threes with a smooth release and confident delivery. I'll be interested to monitor him over the rest of the summer and during the high school season to see if he continues to make strides as a long scorer who can make an impact on the defensive end for colleges.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1707110"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Warriors Life Elite put together a successful weekend, and Williams was a huge part of what they accomplished. He's a bit undersized, but still can score it with the best of them all over the floor. He knocks down jumpers consistently, and drives for paint touches in order to either score or dump off to his teammates. The best part is that he really can defer when other teammates get hot, and when he has the ball in his hands he does well in finding them in good spots for them to score themselves. He's unselfish when things aren't going his way, and a real competitor every time he steps out on the court. He's one of the next Farmville Central guards that will be a star at the next level, and his scoring chops he showed off all weekend are evidence of that.","_player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":5,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-6472597ec5e0c"} /-->
