Nolan Minessale Nolan Minessale 6'5" | SF Marquette | 2024 State WI — SF — Chapman Basketball Academy
I thought that Minessale played excellent basketball last spring and summer for Chapman Basketball Academy. But this past weekend, the small forward showed spectators that he has taken his game to another level. It is well known that Minessale is a dangerous weapon in transition. His combination of athletic ability plus skill makes him impossible to stop in the open floor. I thought that Minessale showed some impressive improvements on the defensive end. He was able to jump passing lanes and create steals. Expect college programs to show interest in Minessale soon.
Will Hornseth Will Hornseth 6'8" | PF De Pere | 2024 State #208 Nation WI — PF — Wisconsin Blizzard
Power Five college programs: What more do you need to see? Hornseth did it all this past weekend in Minnesota. Coming off an excellent high school season, Hornseth has certainly made improvements in his game. As a back-to-the-basket scorer, Hornseth uses great footwork and touch to get buckets. He is also improving rapidly as a defender. He uses his strength and high IQ to make great plays around the basket. It has been a huge spring for Hornseth and I look forward to watching him play in the future.
Abakar Miganoudji — PF — Beyond The Game
Miganoudji is a prospect with plenty of potential. He owns excellent positional size and athleticism. He also possesses plenty of skills. Around the rim, the power forward can finish through or around contact. He does a nice job of drawing fouls, too Defensively, Miganoudji is awesome. He is a great shot blocker and rim protector. I thought that the Beyond The Game power forward showed impressive flashes at Battle At The Lakes.
Isaiah Johnson — SF — D1 Minnesota
Johnson has proven himself as a legit top-tier prospect in Minnesota. When the D1 Minnesota small forward gets in the open floor, grab some popcorn, you are going to see a show. He is super athletic and explosive. He scores well in many different ways and is also a very effective defender. He uses his combination of size and quickness to guard multiple positions. I am really looking forward to watching Johnson play at the college level.
Finn Norman Finn Norman 6'6" | PF Woodbury | 2025 State MN — SF — Real Phenom
Norman is a rising prospect in Minnesota’s 2025 class. The 6-foot-6 small forward is elite when he gets the ball around the rim. When guarded by a smaller player, Norman does a tremendous job of using his size to finish difficult layups. He has great touch, specifically with his right hand. Norman is also a sneaky good ballhandler and passer. If Norman continues to improve his game, college programs will surely be in contact with the Real Phenom standout soon.
Keegan Van Kauwenberg Keegan Van Kauwenberg 6'3" | CG Kaukauna | 2025 State WI — SF — Wisconsin Crusaders
Van Kauwenberg has been labeled as a “shooter.” And while he is no doubt one of the better shooters in the state of Wisconsin, I think that he has developed into a “scorer.” This past weekend, I was really impressed with the small forward’s diverse offensive skill set. He got buckets in many different ways. This next high school season, keep an eye out for Van Kauwenberg.
