Here were the 2026 standouts

[player_tooltip player_id='1570942' first='Tillman' last='Huish'] Gilbert (AZ Prime 16) (Pictured)

A combo guard who grew two inches since my last viewing. He has a high feel for the game and has a strap. He can pull-up from mid-range and catch and shoot from the three. He also can dribble drive and beat a defender to the rim to score. He changes speeds well and then will burst by and his euro game is very good.

[player_tooltip player_id='1901422' first='Andrew' last='Nichols'] Gilbert (AZ Prime 16)

A strong framed power forward with a nice touch. He works well inside the post with rip thrus and hook shots plus can step out and shoot the three. He is a top-tier rebounder using his girth, size, athleticism and physicality. It wouldn't surprise me to see him play good minutes on varsity next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1430444' first='Jacob' last='Webber'] Scottsdale Christian Academy (AZ Venom 16)

A long wing shooter with a very soft shot. He can pull-up off of a curl or catch and shoot with range past the three point line with an ultra quick release. He can step back off the dribble and take good shots. Him and Williams will be a tough soph duo next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1763218' first='AJ' last='Harris'] Canyon View (Factory 16)

A fluid mover who rebounds well. He has good hands to grab out of area rebounds and can push the rock to the open man. He can score on hook shots and catch and shoot from the three. He is very good in the passing lanes and can take it coast to coast off the glass.

[player_tooltip player_id='1591734' first='TJ' last='Harris'] Paradise Honors (Factory 16)

A scoring point guard is fast up the court and will dime his teammates. His tight handle allows him to separate from his defender and rise up from mid-range. His floater game is polished and his euro game is tough to stop. He can catch an alley-oop and make plays. He threw a pretty touch pass in stride and is quick in the passing lanes on defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='1900362' first='Colby' last='Jessup'] Valley Christian (AZ Grind 16)

A true combo guard can score and make plays for his teammates. He has one of the fastest releases in the class that I have viewed so far. He has a good feel to facilitate and he can launch from deep and rattle them off beyond the three point line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1901429' first='Jayden' last='Mangahas'] Desert Ridge (BST 17)

A sturdy framed point guard is another throw back. He does have deep three point range but he is looking up to spray the ball around. He has a tight handle and is very strong for his grade. He can burst into the paint and score or find a cutter. His shooting and passing stand out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1763220' first='Devin' last='Sanders'] Canyon View (AZ Venom 16)

An undersized pure point guard definitely plays from the neck up. He dissects the defense quickly and the fast guard works well off the pick and roll game. He will find the cutter or pull-up from mid to the three point line. Look for him to possibly get some backup PG minutes on varsity with a deep group of guards.
