State
NJ
, 6’8 C Clifton
Al-Deen Saleh has the potential to have a big spring and summer with the NJ Panthers with his ability to make plays at both ends of the floor. The 6’8 post runs the floor hard, giving himself easy layups and dunks in transition. Al-Deen Saleh has a nice touch around the basket and can knock down jumpers in the mid-range. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to block shots around the basket. Al-Deen Saleh’s ability to control the paint is something that will help his game in a big way over the next couple of months.
Alex Konov Alex Konov 6'7" | PF Manasquan | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 PF Manasquan
Konov is an intriguing prospect to watch in the 2024 class as he stretches the floor nicely. The 6’7 forward has a nice release on his jumper and can hot from distance in a hurry. Konovo has a solid face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and has a nice touch around the basket. He switches nicely off of screens and can get position down low. Konov’s ability to knock down jumpers from behind the arc is something that will help his game in a big way for the NJ Shoreshots HGSL.
Terrance Wood Terrance Wood 6'6" | PF Union Catholic | 2024 State NJ , 6’6 PF Union Catholic
Wood ended the 2022-23 season on a high note and is looking to carry over that momentum into the AAU season. The 6’6 forward is a strong rebounder as he is tough to keep off the offensive glass and rips down defensive rebounds. Wood is a good finisher around the basket and can finish through contact. He can knock down open jumpers on the perimeter and is a good defender. Wood is a physical forward prospect whose game should take a big step up this spring and summer.
Michaelangelo Oberti Michaelangelo Oberti 6'10" | C Morris Catholic | 2024 State NJ , 6’10 C Morris Catholic
Oberti is a post prospect to watch in the 2024 class as he can impact the game in a number of ways. The 6’10 post has a nice touch around the basket and is capable of finishing through contact. Oberti has an underrated face-up game as he can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. He skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his length to influence shots around the basket. Oberti is a skilled post prospect whose stock could rise with a big spring and summer.
Brandon Benjamin Brandon Benjamin 6'7" | PF Bergen Catholic | 2025 NLG , 6’8 PF Bergen Catholic
Benjamin is in the middle of a breakout with the Shoreshots Rio UAA and should continue over the next couple of months. The 6’8 forward plays with a motor that doesn’t stop on either end of the floor, creating opportunities for himself in transition. Benjamin is a solid finisher around the basket and can hit layups through contact. He swats shots around the rim and is a force on the boards. Benjamin recently picked up an offer from Iona and that offer sheet should only grow longer.
