The 15u pools were deep, talented and featured a variety of skill sets. Looking over my notes from The Stage, I narrowed it down to 55 15u prospects that stood out to me. Keep in mind that I can't see every team and every game, so there will be additional players that I'm sure deserve that accolades as well. He's one of the grittiest and toughest kids in 15u rosters. His strength and natural recognition of positioning for boards helped him pick up a ton of rebounds when I watched him. His play early helped set the tone for an eventual victory. He's comfortable playing at a fast pace and can get down the floor in a hurry. Washington showed off a pretty spin move for a bucket. He had a solid and consistent jumper that he was able to hit from beyond the arc. This isn't the first event that he's gone off in, and most certainly won't be his last from the looks of things. Hibner finds buckets. That simple. He knows how to get open with movement, positioning and handles. The diversity of his skill set stood out. He was a terrific passer, that didn't have to rely on flash. Instead he got the ball where it needed to go in the most efficient way possible. Claxton looked comfortable passing on the move as well. First thing first, it's very obvious that he's a leader. He didn't watch from the bench when he wasn't on the floor, but instead stayed active with the game. Coombs was one of the better deep ball shooters that I saw on Saturday. You could see him get used to the speed and strength of the game as the weekend carried on. He was that gritty do whatever the team needs type of player that every coach needs and wants.
