Stock Rising 2025 Tulsa Wings to begin the grassroots season

Jyson Kim Jyson Kim 6'4″ | SG Cascia Hall | 2025 State OK is a talented with with a lethal deep range ability. Kim’s ability to find gaps in the defense to catch and shoot is uncanny, always ready to catch and shoot allows him to effortlessly rise above defenders and knock it down. Jyson also has a solid ability to get out on the break and finished assisted with his ability to break down a defender on the 3pt line and create a nice shot of the dribble. Kim’s length is a dynamic facto on the defensive end disrupting the passing lanes and denying shots. This summer has a lot of opportunity for Jyson to develop his game and really see his stock soar.

Suttons Woods is a pure scorer, the young shooting guard simply knows how to put the ball in the basket. Woods is a high priority for opposing defenses behind the arc because you simply cannot leave him open. Sutton is a threat to shoot the ball  efficiently just a couple steps inside half-court, as soon as he finds a gap in the defense and gets his feet set its nearly automatic from deep. Woods lethal shooting ability makes him a solid treat to get to the rim as well with defenses overplaying him on the 3pt line, a simple pump fake and one dribble Sutton is finishing at the room with or without contact. A true highlight to his game and the passion with which he plays, is Sutton’s tenacity on the offensive boards especially on the fast break always putting himself in position for so valuable second chance points.

Deke Thompson Deke Thompson 6'3″ | SG Jenks | 2025 State OK is a high energy scorer who plays with an unwavering passion every time he steps out onto the court. Thompson needs only a sliver of space to rise up and shoot the ball from behind the arc, and with his 6’3″ frame makes it a challenges for defenders to contest especially when he’s casually knocking down shots 3 feet behind the line. Deke is an athletic finisher that loves to get out on the break and run hard to stop when he’s getting downhill just as much as he is rising up and shooting leaving defenses nearly helpless in transition. Thompsons scoring capability combined with his strength on the boards and timing when sending shots away makes him a prime candidate to have a strong summer.

Jalil Cotton Jalil Cotton 6'5″ | SF Tulsa Memorial | 2025 State OK is a lengthy wing went plenty room for stock to rise. Cotton is a strong body when attacking from the wing and getting physical inside. Jalil plays a solid in his role cleaning up on the offensive glass and providing second chance opportunities. Cotton provides a a versatility of size and disruption on the defensive end and as he continues to develop he skills his versatility on the wing will wreak havocs on defenses.
