They each had their own impressive skill set and excited onlookers with their potential. Let’s look at some post players that impressed at Rumble In The Rapids.
Moody stood out in the crowd that’s for sure. He’s a space eater with strength in his upper and lower body. As he carves out his frame, his physicality will be a huge asset. Moody moves well up and down the floor. He was an effective rim protector and I really liked how he avoided foul trouble, which can be tough for young bigs. Moody was able to draw fouls and play through contact at Rumble In The Rapids.
Bartley probably has as much upside as any big in the division. He got more comfortable as the day went on. Bartley has tremendous offensive footwork around the block, using his pivot foot to find looks. He did a nice job establishing position on the block and was also able to step outside and play 5 out. Bartley has a next level looking frame and is extremely coachable.

It got to the point that when Flowers stepped on the court, you knew he was going to influence the game. He was in great physical condition and he forced opposing coaches to throw multiple defenders his way. Flowers could often time just outpower his opponent. He had a nose for the ball off the rim and was quick to it off the shot.
I’m going to call Glazier a power forward, but his versatility is part of what stood out at Rumble In The Rapids this past weekend. I saw him effectively protecting the rim playing solid vertical defense. Offensively he did his best work facing the rim and was real solid working from the mid range. Glazier had a nice little scoop under the rim for a bucket that stuck in my head.
Sanders flashed some really high level upside. He’s long and strong and as he continues to fill out, his frame could make him very tough to defend. Sanders often looked to challenge and alter shots with his length. His defense is ahead of his offense, but that’s perfectly normal. Sanders can pick up buckets off put backs with ease.
I’d project Harris as a wing, but he had some really dominating performances and contributions in the paint at Rumble In The Rapids. His best game might have come against All-In Sports. Harris was bouncy under the rim and was active on the glass on both ends of the floor. He grabbed at least 3 offensive rebounds against All-In Sports and they came at key moments in the game.
Viehman has a lot going for him as a player and prospect. First of all, you can tell that he’s a leader both on and off the floor. He’s got really nice overall athleticism and can really stretch the floor as a 4. Veihman can defend on both the perimeter as well as in the paint. He picked up a handful of blocks coming from behind and swatting the ball away.
