Prep Hoops Live: Jack’s 15U Day 2 AM Standouts

He was able to use his size to his advantage on the boards, grabbing some contested rebounds over opponents. He also used his frame to finish around the basket off of feeds from his teammates. Where he impressed me the most was with what he could do on the perimeter. He looked really comfortable handling the ball and creating using the dribble on the offensive end. Hilton connected with a pair of three-pointers as well. He played the role as the main ball handler for his team and never looked pressured or rushed into making bad decisions. He hit his teammates with several long cross-court passes leading to some open looks from three. He scored from different areas on the floor as well. He knocked down a catch-and-shoot three, went coast-to-coast and finished with a floater, and also finished off a fast break layup. He is a lights out shooter and was automatic off the catch. He could finish at the basket through traffic at full speed and looked strong and under control when he would make his drives. He would only take high percentage looks and had a knack for finding openings in the defense to attack. Fogle did not only score as he showed his ability to make high level passes with either hand as well. Opponents could not stop him from attacking the basket when he got a full head of steam and he did a great job being aggressive throughout the entire game. This resulted in defenders having to foul him most of the time as he saw many trips to the free throw line. The 6'1” freshman has a bunch of moves he can use to get to the rim, finding success using spin moves and drop steps to get his shots off. He was not afraid at all to attack the basket and finish through the traffic of larger defenders either. He also hit a pretty turnaround fadeaway jumper in the mid-range that looked nearly impossible to defend. He was making play after play on both sides of the ball, showcasing his speed and quick burst ability all game. He impressed me as an on-ball defender as he made opposing ball handler's lives very difficult when he was their matchup. He also found success blowing right by defenders with relatively simple moves, never doing too much and turning the ball over. He has exceptional vision and found some of his teammates for open looks on a couple different occasions as well. For his age, he has great size and held down the painted area all game for his team. The 6'6” 2027 prospect was going after all rebounds, coming away with some impressive contested boards. He also had some nice finishes inside through traffic, often following his own shot, then putting the ball back up for a second chance basket.
