The small town point guard got the tournament started with deep shots from beyond the arc and a victory for his Thunder Elite squad. Goree was credited with five made three pointers, for 19 points. More than a sharpshooter, Goree is a good passer who can navigate through traffic and find open teammates.
Jonah Brandon

In another early morning session, the aggressive, athletic Texas guard lived in the paint with quick and strong drives in the first half. Brandon followed that up by being credited with three makes from beyond the arc. Mix in a couple good feeds to teammates and the 2024 standouts had an impressive opening game. He finished with 18 points.
Primetime picked up a big win against a big and athletic squad from New Mexico. The southwestern Oklahoma standout was a big reason for the victory. At first he was a productive blur on the defensive end, hounding ball handlers and playing passing lanes. Then he closed out the first half by getting hot from distance. Including one make from well beyond the arc.
The OKC guard was active around the rim as a driver and rebounder. Boykins got after it on the boards on both ends of the court. While even chipping in with a couple made three pointers. The long armed guard was credited with 15 points in a victory for Next Level Oklahoma.
Romeo Miller
Romeo Miller
An athletic slasher with good size, Miller made his living by getting downhill and consistently getting the to rim. At the rim he finished through traffic taking contact well or at times avoiding it all together. He mixed in a good mid-range pull up. A good trait he should lean on more, as there were times he attempted to muscle his way to the hoop, when a pull up would’ve been more effective.
A well rounded wing, Sage’s great mobility for his size stood out in a Saturday morning victory for the Rogue. Fittingly for the organization it was a balance attacked that anchored their win over a good program from Texas, with 7 players scoring 6 or more points. Sage was one of two Rogue players in double figures with 12 points while also grabbing 5 rebounds. A good shooter from distance in previous viewings, this was a good showing that there is more to his game, including a good pull up after he was rushed off the line.
Highlights
Elijah Brown
Elijah Brown
Brown was impressive for the 16U program playing at the 17U level. The 6 foot 3 guard has a good combination of quickness and strength, especially for a younger prospect, when driving. Along with his 13 points, Brown was all over the glass for Next Level in their afternoon win.
While the quick point guard did not shoot it as well from distance as other viewings, Snow left his mark all over the game. When he drives, it’s not just to find a way to score in traffic. He creates so many opportunities for his teammates by forcing the defense to collapse and he’s an excellent passer. To go along with his shot creation for others, Snow had good high arcing finishes on his way to 18 points.
In the first half alongside his high school teammate Mack Gudell Mack Gudell 5’10” | SG Crossings Christian | 2024 State OK , Crotts was causing havoc with ball pressure and high energy. He did a bit of dirty work that half but was impressive in helping Next Level close out the 20 point victory. He had a flurry of 7 points in quick succession, with a pair of good drives in traffic and a triple from distance.
